在 2023 年首尔弗里兹艺博会上，東京画廊 + BTAP 将展出以下艺术家的作品：白髪一雄、菅木志雄、菅井汲、瀧本光國、元永定正、豊福知徳、関根美夫、朴栖甫、李禹焕、李康昭、李镇雨。

作为日本第一家当代艺术画廊，東京画廊自开馆以来几十年一直向国际介绍推广当代亚洲艺术。画廊展示了从1960年代至今的日本和韩国当代艺术。展览包括从日本物派和韩国单色画开始，到代表东亚当代艺术最新趋势的新一代艺术家的作品。

弗里兹首尔艺博会对東京画廊有着不一样的意义，画廊与韩国艺术有着悠久的关系。这可以追溯到1970年代，当时的画廊老板山本孝 (Takashi Yamamoto) 在访问了韩国，多次举办了金昌烈、朴栖甫、沈文燮、尹亨根、李康昭等艺术家的个展。在1980年代着眼当时不为人知的中国当代艺术，举办了徐冰、蔡国强等人的展览。如今，東京画廊继续充当亚洲艺术家之间的交流中心，并牢牢地处于亚洲充满活力的当代艺术界的前沿。

For Frieze Seoul 2023, Tokyo Gallery + BTAP booth will show works by following artists: Park Seo-Bo, Lee Ufan, Lee KangSo, Kim Hong Joo, Kim Keun-Tai, Lee JinWoo, Kazuo Shiraga, Kishio Suga, Kumi Sugai, Mitsukuni Takimoto, Sadamasa Motonaga, Tomonori Toyofuku, and Yoshio Sekine.

Tokyo Gallery is Japan’s first contemporary art gallery, and has introduced contemporary Asian art to the international audiences over the decades. The gallery presents Japanese and Korean contemporary art from the avant-garde period of the 1960s until the present day. Beginning with the Japanese Mono-ha and Korean Dansaekhwa, the presentation also includes works by a later generation of artists representative of the recent trends of East Asian contemporary art.

Frieze Seoul holds a special place in the heart of Tokyo Gallery, as the gallery has a particularly long relationship with Korean art. This dates back to 1972 when the gallery owner Takashi Yamamoto visited Korea during the challenging period of martial law. Since then, the gallery featured solo exhibitions of artists such as Kim Tschang Yeul, Park Seo Bo, Shim Moon Seup, Yun Hyong Keun, Lee Kang-So, and many others. From the late 1980s, Tokyo Gallery also started exhibiting yet-unknown Chinese artists, including Cai Guo Qiang and Xu Bing. Today, Tokyo Gallery continues to serve as a hub of exchange between Asian artists and firmly positioned at the forefront of the vibrant contemporary art scene in Asia.
