三远当代艺术宣布，董大为的回顾性展览“分形”将于9月20日下午4时开幕。本次展览是三远当代艺术经历空间改造后，重新开馆的首个展览，由戴卓群策展，将索引性地呈现董大为自2012至2023年期间的艺术实践。

董大为的工作状况，非常接近一个程序员，从源代码入手，生成字符串，建立程序语言，然后无限分形和编码。董大为给自己的创作，订立过一个关键词图表，用以框定自身的工作逻辑，而这，在我看来，便是他的分形编程。

这个图表里的关键词如下，大致依照自内而外的次序，我一一罗列出来：元素、重复、规则、尊重客观、观念、现成品、收集、去技术化、去专业化、本质主义、艺术史自觉、语言、诗意、幽默、联想、关系、多样性、极简、抽象、行为、——。这里“——”之后的空白，应该代表了可进一步延伸扩展的关键词。

现实中对董大为的观感，理性，严谨，条理，也许偏执，正如他在其投注心血最多也最持久的马克笔晕染吸墨纸的项目“奇点”中的极致专注和持久耐心。在对墨性和纸性无数遍的尝试和体验中，百千万次的重复，艺术家洞悉了纤毫之际精微的奥妙，如同用显微镜揭开原子内部的微观世界，行动反哺观念以惊奇。

分形的程序建立在限定和规则之上，这是董大为生成工作的基础原理。分形是元素的复制，分形是代码的规则，分形也是多样关系的抽象联想。我们回溯董大为近十数年间的一系列面貌各异的创作，将可解码艺术家似乎隐匿在纷纭表象之下的核心操作系统，并充满诗意地串起这做为一种总体性艺术却漫落四散的颗颗珠玉。

Dong Dawei's works mirror a programmer's iterative process, starting with source code, generating strings, exploring fractals and coding. He uses a keyword diagram to shape his artistic process, embodying his unique form of fractal programming.

This is evident in his project "Singular Point," which involves meticulously smudging marker pen blots on paper. It's his most time-consuming and extensive endeavor, leading to profound insights into subtle intricacies, akin to using a microscope to explore the microcosm within an atom. Each action he takes sparks surprising conceptual revelations.
