有赖于对壁画和考古的感悟，吴彦臻创作出了带有层层叠加和剥落感的作品，成为他当下的主要视觉面貌。对这种观看层次和材料特征的把握，让他的作品显示出独树一帜的风格。更重要的是，其作品中对于繁复细节的耐心处理体现出若隐若现的现代主义美学感受。

Relying on his understanding of frescos and archaeology, Wu Yanzhen creates works with a sense of layering and peeling off, which becomes his main visual features in recent years. The grasp of this sense of depth, and the characteristics of materials, reveals a unique style in his works. More importantly, the patience Wu puts into the sophisticated details in his works reflects the implicit feeling of modernistic aesthetics.

1995 年生于重庆
2013-2017 四川美术学院油画系本科学习
2017-2020 中央美术学院造型学院版画系硕士研究生学习

2019 罗德岛设计艺术学院学习
2020-2023 年于中央美术学院攻读博士学位
2019《巨人的遗骸》获 SAP(The Signature Art Prize)年度新锐艺术家奖
2020 年获“千里之行”提名奖、中央美术学院优秀毕业作品奖

Born in Chongqing, 1995.

From 2013 to 2017, studied in Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

From 2017 to 2020, studied in Printmaking Department in Central Academy of Fine Arts for master degree.

Studied in Rhode Island School of Design in 2019.

From 2020 to 2023, studied in Central Academy of Fine Arts for PHD degree.

Remains of Titan has won Annual Emerging Artist Award of SAP (The Signature Art Prize) in 2019.

Won Nomination Award of The Start of A Long Journey, and Excellent Graduation Works Award of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2020.

Sailing Space

赛麟空间于2019年成立于上海，是一家致力于以专业知识参与到当代艺术领域的画廊机构。该画廊关注正在发生的当代艺术现象，不断发掘和合作具有时代价值的艺术家，并将艺术家的发展作为自身工作的核心。画廊在深耕中国长三角地区的同时，于英国伦敦设立了卫星团队，以未来艺术史的书写可能作为自身价值判断的标准，努力建构符合时代意义的艺术机构。

Founded in Shanghai in 2019, Sailing Space is a gallery dedicated to participating in contemporary art with professional knowledge. The gallery pays close attention to the rising contemporary, constantly exploring and cooperating with artists who reflect the value of the era. 'Grow Together with Artists' is the core value of our mission. While deeply rooted in the Yangtze River Delta region in Eastern China, around the city of Shanghai, the gallery has also set up a satellite team in London, taking the writing of future art history as the foundation of its value, it strives to build an art institution that conforms to the cultural significance of the modern day.
