颜开的作品以茶为颜料，最大限度地发挥了茶作为绘画材料的特性。他的作品讲究画面经营，色彩拥有雅素之美，绘画形象具有趣味性，从中透出禅意。在当代绘画的语境下塑造了具有自身特点的“茶禅一味”的美学价值。

Yan Kai's works use tea as a pigment, and maximises the characteristics of tea in painting. His works angle a particular focus on the composition of picture plane, the elegance of colours, and the perkiness of the figurative images, thus revealing the artistic conception of Zen. In the context of contemporary painting, the aesthetic value of Tasting Zen in Tea has been created with artist’s own characteristics.

Sailing Space

赛麟空间于2019年成立于上海，是一家致力于以专业知识参与到当代艺术领域的画廊机构。该画廊关注正在发生的当代艺术现象，不断发掘和合作具有时代价值的艺术家，并将艺术家的发展作为自身工作的核心。画廊在深耕中国长三角地区的同时，于英国伦敦设立了卫星团队，以未来艺术史的书写可能作为自身价值判断的标准，努力建构符合时代意义的艺术机构。

Founded in Shanghai in 2019, Sailing Space is a gallery dedicated to participating in contemporary art with professional knowledge. The gallery pays close attention to the rising contemporary, constantly exploring and cooperating with artists who reflect the value of the era. 'Grow Together with Artists' is the core value of our mission. While deeply rooted in the Yangtze River Delta region in Eastern China, around the city of Shanghai, the gallery has also set up a satellite team in London, taking the writing of future art history as the foundation of its value, it strives to build an art institution that conforms to the cultural significance of the modern day.
