Issa Al Shirawi
卡塔尔博物馆群国际展览部主管兼展览联合策展人
伊萨·阿勒希拉维，展览联合策展人。作为卡塔尔博物馆群国际展览部主管,他负责开发和策划卡塔尔本土展览和国际巡回展览，通过“卡塔尔文化年”项目与国际博物馆、文化机构和合作伙伴建立关系促进国际文化交流。

Issa Al Shirawi is currently Head of International Exhibitions in the Central Exhibitions Department at Qatar Museums. He is responsible for developing and curating both local and travelling exhibitions whether through Qatar Museum’s Years of Culture program or by fostering relationships with international museum and cultural institutions and partners.
Previously Issa has brought several international exhibitions to life in various locations across Qatar, including KAWS: He Eats Alone, Picasso’s Studios, Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech and Contemporary Heritage as part of Tasweer Photography Festival, Grey Times as part of the Artist in Residence program and, most recently, Labour of Love: Embroidering Palestinian History and Forever Valentino.
Issa graduated with a Master of Arts in Museum and Gallery Practice from University College London and holds a postgraduate diploma from Sotheby’s Institute in Art and Business with a focus on modern and contemporary art. His research focuses on contemporary regional and international art and the organization and management of cultural institutions. Issa’s work on the formation of single-artist institutions in Qatar and the United Kingdom has been published in Studying Museums in Qatar and Beyond.
Yousef Ahmad Al Homaid

Yousef Ahmad, artist, calligrapher, writer, and teacher, was born in Doha, Qatar in 1955. His profound impact on contemporary Arabic art is evident in his works, which have found homes in esteemed international museums such as the Metropolitan and the British Museum. His artistic influence extends across galleries and art venues worldwide. Ahmad's artistic journey began in childhood, where he immersed himself in classical calligraphy. His early fascination with the art of printing set the stage for his future endeavors. He honed his calligraphic and artistic skills, working as a calligrapher and caricaturist for Al Oruba Press and later as an art inspector for the Ministry of Education from 1974 to 1975.
His educational path led him to achieve an MA in Art and Education from Helwan University in Cairo in 1976, followed by an MA in painting from Mills College in California in 1983. Through the years, his art transitioned from embellished calligraphy to abstract forms, culminating in his latest works that incorporate palm tree leaves as canvas, reflecting his environment. Yousef Ahmad's contributions extend beyond his artistic output. Today, he serves as an art advisor and consultant to the Qatar Foundation while continuing to produce innovative art across various themes and mediums.
Maryam Al Homaid
跨学科设计师
玛丽亚姆·阿勒胡迈德是一位跨学科设计师，其创作源于她对原型设计和动手创作的热爱。她的研究围绕记录当今不断变化的现象这一概念开展，将物理媒介与数字技术相结合，创造出一系列传达变革理念的装置。她相信，将基于技术的媒介与手工制作文化相结合，可以连接起被时代遗忘的阿拉伯湾手工艺与当代高科技媒介之间的鸿沟。

Maryam Al Homaid is an interdisciplinary designer. Her curiosity and exploration in design grew from a personal interest in prototyping and making. Her interest revolves around the concept of documenting today's changing phenomena, mixing physical mediums with digital techniques to a create series of installations that communicate the idea of change. She believes that mixing technology-based mediums and the DIY culture can build the bridges between today's high-tech mediums and the lost crafts of the Arabian Gulf.
Al Homaid exhibited her work locally and internationally, including QM Gallery Al Riwaq, Garage Gallery at the Fire Station, Milan Design Week, and Maison et Object in Paris, among others. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design and an MFA in Design Studies, both from VCUarts Qatar, where she is also an Assistant Professor in the Graphic Design department.
Saida Al Khulaifi
视觉艺术家、策展人

Saida Al Khulaifi plays a dual role of artist and curator. Al Khulaifi is a visual artist based in Qatar. She obtained her MA degree in Museums and Gallery Practice from University College of London and is currently working in the contemporary arts field in Qatar. Her work explores themes of identity, society norms and time. Her artistic approach is a mix of analogue photography, experimental developing and printing, drawing, text and embroidery.
In 2018, Al Khulaifi joined the Fire Station’s Programs team as Senior Exhibition and Program Coordinator. She has co-curated numerous exhibitions, including presentations by the Fire Station's artists in residence. She works to provide guidance to emerging artists, help them to develop their practices.
