T-Factor Rodshow includes an exhibition of the project’s methodology and results, with materials and updates from the six pilot cities (Amsterdam, Milano, Kaunas, Lisbon, Bilbao, London). The exhibition will showcase examples and actions of the work in the different cities and present the contents of the Shanghai pilot projects, happening in Xinhua CDC, NICE2035 community, and MeetU Lab.
Each of the cities is working on different challenges and missions of urban regeneration, dealing with the topic of environment and ecology, entrepreneurship, circularity, heritage, social inclusion, cultures and creativity, and more. The mission of city and ecology is very important in the Shanghai pilots, and the second part of the exhibition will focus particularly to showcase projects that address urban green, relationship with urban ecology, and the theme of biodiversity in cities. Shanghai is working in synergy with the other T-Factor cities to experiment on how nature and environment can be included as a fundamental aspect of urban regeneration, and how the use of temporary spaces can inspire citizens to a stronger relationship with the ecosystem.
The exhibition will be open from 27th November to December 10th, and you are welcome to come visit during opening hours (1pm to 5pm) by registering with the QR code in HudongXin. Please remember that is necessary to access to the venue.

Pantang Wuyue and Participatory Design
Pantang Wuyue is the only vernacular settlement in Guangzhou's historic district that has retained its Ming and Qing Dynasty patterns. The previous renovation was mostly based on large-scale demolition and construction. The company intervened in the project as a "micro-renovation" community planner, constantly exploring the application of participatory design in historic districts, expanding the focus from single-house repair to co-creation with community residents in the context of historical and cultural preservation and social innovation, to achieve historical and cultural preservation, spatial revitalisation, knowledge dissemination and education, and social service innovation. In this way, the project achieves the practical goals of historical and cultural preservation, spatial revitalisation, knowledge dissemination and education, and social service innovation.

The renovation of Songkou Town in Yongtai, Fuzhou began in 2014, and over the years this thousand-year-old town surrounded by Dazhang River has not stopped revitalising its way forward. Many young people from Songkou who were in other cities began to join the team of returnees to settle down in their hometowns and participate in the revitalisation. Letting local people do local things and rebuild confidence in living locally has always been a crucial part of determining the vitality of rural revitalisation, and HOMELAND, as a local Fujian magazine, has been involved in the process, accompanying them as they slowly change and grow along with the ancient town. this time, we will look back on Songkou's past 10 years and share some of the recent attempts to revitalise the town in the local context.

Reshaping daily life - 3511 TFEP
The original site of 3511 TFEP was the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Factory No. 3511, once the largest military towel factory in China. In June 2021, 3511 TFEP officially opened its doors to the public again, with LOCAL and Field Architecture as its partners in the conservation and redesign of the industrial heritage. Through the approach of "micro renewal and light transformation" and refined operation, 3511 has formed the main sections of flower market, fish market, night market, food, cultural creation, etc., which is regarded as "the most beautiful flower, bird and fish market in Xiaan", and has become "a sample of urban composite community centre", which has been well received by the public. It has become a "sample of urban composite community centre" and has received attention and support from the government, media and many other parties. In 2023, it was successfully selected as a "typical case of urban quarter-hour convenient living circle" by the Ministry of Commerce.
