ASE基金会是一家立足于中国，拥有全球视野的非营利性基金会，致力于支持当代艺术在中国的普及、发展和学术层面的研究整理。基金会共有四个功能：永久性的艺术收藏、ASE·空间、ASE艺术图书馆和艺术赞助项目。

ASE Foundation is a non-profit foundation based in China with a global perspective, dedicated to supporting the popularization, development and academic research and organization of contemporary art in China. It features four functions: permanent art collection, the ASE·Space, the ASE Art Library, and art sponsorship.

刘任（生于1983年）毕业于上海大学美术学院版画系（2007年），现工作并生活于上海。刘任的创作主要涉及绘画、雕塑与装置。他往往从身边日常的材料中寻找灵感，在干净工整的视觉形态背后隐藏感性累积与文本解析。他关注时间的流逝、生命的消耗以及人的存在状态，各种碎片化的信息，日常的物质材料得以转化。刘任的作品曾在ASE 基金会（上海，2023年）、798 CUBE（北京，2023年）、天目里美术馆（杭州，2022年）、香港巴塞尔（香港，2021年）、K11美术馆（上海，2021年）、思南公馆（上海，2020年）、西岸艺术中心-瓷屋（上海，2019年）、UNArt艺术中心（上海，2019年）、杨峰艺术与教育基金会（上海，2018年）、余德耀美术馆（上海，2017年）、chi K11美术馆（上海，2016年）、上海民生现代美术馆（上海，2016年）、上海二十一世纪民生美术馆（上海，2015年）、中央美术学院美术馆（北京，2015年）、上海喜玛拉雅美术馆（上海，2014年）等机构展出，他的个展包括“昨日重现”（东画廊，上海，2021年）、“黄金时代”（东画廊，上海，2018年）、“春江花月夜”（东画廊，上海，2016年）、“过滤”（空白空间，北京，2013年）、“青春”（东画廊，上海，2012年）、“2008102020091112..8:35...”（东画廊，上海，2009年）等。

LIU Ren (b. 1983) graduated from the Department of Printmaking, Fine Art College of Shanghai University (2007), currently living and working in Shanghai. LIU’s practice mainly involves painting, sculpture and installation. He so often draws inspiration from everyday materials that surround him and conceals accumulated sentiments and analytical texts behind the clean, neat and orderly visual forms. He attends to the passage of time, the consumption of life and the state of being, where fragmented information and mundane materials are transformed. LIU’s work has been presented by ASE Foundation (Shanghai, 2023), 798 CUBE (Beijing, 2023), By Art Matters (Hangzhou, 2022), Art Basel (Hongkong, 2021), K11 Art Museum (Shanghai, 2021), Sinan Mansions (Shanghai, 2020), West Bund Art Centre-Ceramic House (Shanghai, 2019), UNArt Center (Shanghai, 2019), Frank F.
