展览预告 | 千面之城——意大利现当代艺术邀请展

艺术作为表达和反映社会脉搏的媒介，未曾停滞与时代共振的脚步，作为市民了解与亲近艺术的重要窗口，武汉美术馆立足城市文化，推广中部地区艺术生态进程的同时，也不断寻找合适、优质的国际交流机会，自2009年建馆以来陆续举办了二十余场国际展览，试图将更多不同文化背景下的现当代艺术带到观众面前。新年伊始，武汉美术馆（琴台馆）也将迎来它开馆以来的第一场国际艺术盛宴——“千面之城——意大利现当代艺术邀请展”。

从文艺复兴到现代艺术，意大利的艺术家们一直在全球艺术界扮演着重要的角色，但好像也正因“文艺复兴”、“古典艺术”这些词的分量，遮挡了自此以后人们对意大利现当代艺术的关注。与2022年年初曾在汉口馆成功举办的《静谧的凝视——意大利当代雕塑展》不同，这次展览邀请的6位意大利艺术家(及组合），更多地关切数字技术发展带来的巨变，他们顺应数字艺术领域发展的时代趋势，消化、挑战和突破传统媒介的表达局限，从城市群像、个体肖像，以及向名作致敬等不同面向探索各自的视觉语言，以独特的视角和手法诠释他们眼中的世界。展览通过78件（组）作品为观众带来一场以影像装置、数字艺术、架上绘画相糅的复合型观看体验，展现全然不同的意大利艺术。

2024年是中意建立全面战略伙伴关系20周年，1月又恰逢马可·波罗逝世700周年，此刻，借由展览的形式深度探索艺术的社会担当与美学价值，对中意两国的文化交流有着重要的意义。此次展览不仅仅是一场国际当代艺术盛宴，更是一次中意文化互鉴的重要契机。武汉美术馆为市民引进此次当代艺术展，让更多的人了解和欣赏意大利当下的部分艺术生态，希望大家能在展览中触发灵感、引动共鸣，感受不同的艺术体验。

As a medium to express and reflect the pulse of society, art has never stopped resonating with the times. As an important window for citizens to understand and get close to art, Wuhan Art Museum is rooted in urban culture and promotes the ecological process of art in the central region. In the meantime it is also constantly looking for suitable and high-quality art. It provides international exchange opportunities and has held more than 20 international exhibitions since its establishment in 2009, trying to bring more modern and contemporary art from different cultural backgrounds to the audience. At the beginning of the new year,Wuhan Art Museum (Qintai) is also welcoming its first international art exhibition since its opening with "Extension of Selves".

From the Renaissance to modern art, Italian artists have always played an important role in the global art world, but it seems at times that the importance of the "Renaissance" and "classical art" has obscured people's attention to Italian contemporary art since then. Different from the "Gazing of Tranquility-Italian Contemporary Sculpture Exhibition" that was successfully held at the Wuhan Art Museum (Hankou) in early 2022, the six young Italian artists/collectives invited to this exhibition are more concerned about the great changes brought about by the development of digital technology. They adapt to digital art, digest, challenge and break through the limitations of traditional media expression based on the trends of the times in the development of the field. They explore their own visual languages from different aspects such as city group portraits, individual portraits, and tributes to masterpieces, and interpret the world in their eyes with unique perspectives and techniques. Through 78 works (groups), the exhibition offers to the audience a rich experience that combines digital art and paintings, showing a completely different Italian art.

2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Italy, and this January also coincides with the 700th anniversary of the demise of Marco Polo. At this moment, in-depth exploration of the social responsibility and aesthetic value of art through exhibitions is of great significance to the cultural exchanges between China and Italy. This exhibition is not only an international contemporary art party, but also an important opportunity for mutual learning between China and Italy. Wuhan Art Museum introduces this contemporary art exhibition to the public, inviting more people to understand and appreciate part of Italian contemporary art. We hope that everyone will be inspired and touched with this unique artistic experience.

④遵德守礼，文明参观，保持馆内秩序及环境卫生，请勿在展厅内饮食、吸烟、喧哗、嬉闹。

⑤敬请爱护展览设施，与展品保持一定距离，勿损坏展品及相关展览设备，若损坏则依法承担法律责任。

⑥未经许可，请勿临摹展品或将板凳、画架、画具等物品带入场馆；馆内拍摄请勿使用闪光灯，禁止将拍摄的照片用于商业和出版用途。

⑦我馆暂无法提供停车服务，请观众尽量选择公共交通抵馆参观。
