展览预告丨如是我心——贤宗法师&沈岳作品展

2020年的疫情，让世界停摆。残酷的现实告诉我们，猝不及防地离开和杳无声息地消失，并不是电影里的情节。“明天和意外究竟哪一个先来？”三年后的今天，我们并没有完全摆脱这样的迷茫、焦虑和恐惧，“艺术”是否还能够在当下给予人们希望和力量，重拾生活的信心与热情？

带着这样的思考，我们精心策划并隆重推出了一个具有特殊意义的展览：如是我心——贤宗法师&沈岳作品展。

贤宗法师童真入道，事佛以诚。在长久的修行中，他对禅宗的理解与对人生的感悟，都融入了层层叠叠的宣纸上，酣畅淋漓的笔划间。源于自然，平淡天真。书写成为他日常休憩的最好方式，也是他入世弘法的重要手段。法师以“如是我心”作为展览主题，既是新年的祝福，也是对世间一切美好的希冀与期待。而沈岳的“桃花源”系列创作，则来自于陶渊明的《桃花源记》，“落英缤纷”原来如此。色彩绚丽，朵朵绽放。沈岳笔下的虽是花鸟，却有“人”的品格，那就是自由的精神，对和谐美好生活的向往。任何存在于人天性中的爱，都是自然的、美丽的。

这是瀚阳艺术中心举办的第74期展览，也是新年里的第一个展览，共展出两位艺术家的书法、绘画、装置作品共计50余件。新年来临之际，让我们共赴一场温暖而又浪漫的艺术之旅吧，希望每一个人都能在这里找到自己心中的“桃花源”。

Preface

非常荣幸能够和沈岳老师一起，在新年到来之际，参加瀚阳艺术中心策划的展览。尽管这是十分殊胜的因缘，但我仍然有些惶恐，因为我觉得我的字写得不够好，也不是专业领域里的“选手”，参加这样专业的展览，恐怕会给画廊丢脸……而沈老师呢，他是中国美术学院的教授，大艺术家，他笔下的“桃花”很美，我的字挂在他作品的旁边可就献丑啦。不过，经不住策展人冯黎敏老师一再地邀约，我也就“恭敬不如从命”了。

It is a tremendous honor to join Mr. Shen Yue in this exhibition curated and organized by the Hanyang Art Center on the occasion of the New Year. Though it is an incredibly auspicious opportunity,Ifind myself somewhat apprehensive because I feel that my calligraphy is not up to par and that I am not a “player” in the professional realm. Participating in a professional exhibition might embarrass the gallery and invite ridicule... As for Mr. Shen, he is a professor at the China Academy of Art, a great artist renowned for his exquisite portrayal of “peach blossoms”. My calligraphy displayed beside his works may pale in comparison. Nevertheless, I am irresistibly compelled to acquiesce to the persistent invitations of the curator Ms. Feng Limin.

书写，于我而言，就是日常休憩的一种方式，挥毫泼墨，直抒胸臆，淡泊自然。有时候，忙碌了一天终于可以回到书房安安静静地写字，就是我最开心的时刻。若是有人喜欢，我就赠送，随缘自在。疫情严重的时候，哪儿都去不了，我就窝在书房里一直写一直写，每天80幅大字，那感觉简直不要太“嗨”……

Calligraphy, for me, is a way to relax in my daily life, where I can freely wield my brush and let my innermost thoughts flow with a serene and unpretentious demeanor. There are moments when, after a hectic day, I can finally retreat to my study and peacefully indulge in calligraphy. It is during these moments that I find the utmost joy. If someone finds appreciation in my work, I bestow it upon them as a gift, embracing the whims of fate. During the severe pandemic, I found refuge in my study, persistently immersing myself in calligraphy, and producing 80 pieces of calligraphy every day. That feeling was simply “exhilarating”, beyond measure...

当然，也因为我不是专业书家，近两个月来，我每天的书写变得越来越有压力，反反复复是经常的事：重写，重写，再重写……每一幅字务必讲究工整严谨，否则冯老师就会把作品退回来。这对我的确是个考验。但是，任何事物都有它的两面性，很多事就是这样，你欣然接纳，人也就舒坦了；不接受，心情肯定不好，字照样写不好，结果也许更糟糕。不对抗，是大智慧。

Over the past couple of months, due to the exhibition, my daily writing has gradually become more laden with pressure for me: there are corrections and rewrites; mistakes and rewrites; crooked handwritings and rewrites... Each piece of calligraphy must be neat and meticulous, posing a huge challenge for me. Fortunately,I persisted and received encouragement and affirmation. In many cases,we feel at ease upon acceptance of the circumstances at hand; resistance only breeds discontent and may lead to worse outcomes. Non-resistance is the essence of true wisdom.

沈老师是有大福报的人，2006年中国第一届世界佛教论坛就是他和团队策划并执行的。我当时也在现场。论坛以“和谐世界，从心开始”为主题，着重探讨了佛教界的合作、社會責任及其和平使命，共同祈愿世界和平，人民安乐，社会和谐。我想，“对美好和谐生活的向往”是全人类共同的愿望，这也是我心中所期盼的。“如是我心”的展览主题便由此而来。

Mr. Shen Yue is a person of great virtue. The First World Buddhist Forum was planned and implemented by him and his team in China in 2006. I was also present at the forum, and vividly remember that the theme of the forum was “Harmonious World, Starting from the Heart,” praying together for world peace, people's well-being, and social harmony. I believe“the yearning for a better and harmonious life” is a common aspiration of all humanity, and it is also what I desire for in my heart. Thus, the theme of the exhibition “Thus Have I Thought” originated from this.

沈老师的花鸟作品，不仅仅是对宇宙自然的模写，更是他内心的流露，在花朵上生出境界。他画里的桃花，绚烂绽放，苍穹天鸟，自由翱翔，那是他用纸和墨构筑的”桃花源”。

Mr. Shen's flower and bird works are not merely representation of the natural universe, but also a reflection of his inner world, blooming with spiritual essence through the flowers. The peach blossoms in his paintings burst forth in vibrant splendor, and the celestial birds soar freely across the sky, creating a “Peach Blossom Paradise” with paper and ink.

我们佛教里也有一个“桃花源”，那就是《华严经》里讲的华藏世界。如果说，晋人陶渊明的“桃花源”描绘的是“鸡犬相闻”，“阡陌往来”的田园生活，那华藏世界就是金刚所成，清净无垢的奢华宫殿，没有生老病死，人们安居乐业，无忧无虑。

In Buddhism, we also have a “Peach Blossom Paradise”, which is the Huazang World described in The Flower Adornment Sutra. Tao Yuanming's “Peach Blossom Spring” portrays a rustic life where "chickens and dogs can be heard, and the paths are busy with villagers”, while the Huazang World is a magnificent palace of the Vajra, immaculate and pure, without birth, aging, sickness, or death, where people live in peace and happiness, without worries.

无论是桃花源还是华藏世界，都是人们对美好生活的期待和向往。当你的心与世界、与天地万物链接在一起的时候，你就会感到清凉光明。有过那样境界的人，是不会再有烦恼和疑惑的。所以，从这个意义来说，“桃花源”其实就在每个人的心里。

Whether it is the Peach Blossom Paradise or the Huazang World, they both represent people's aspirations and yearnings for a better life. The state of enlightenment in Zen iscomparable to the state of nirvana in Buddhism. It is a world of supremely serenity and illuminated. Those who have experienced such a state no longer harbor worries or doubts. Therefore, in this sense, paradise resides within the heart of every individual.

希望我的书写和沈老师的花鸟，能够带给大家信心和力量，观照内心，觉知当下，去追寻自己心中的”桃花源”。最后，借展览的机会，再一次感谢画廊团队，感谢策展人，感谢沈岳老师。祝诸位在新年里福慧双增，圆满幸福！

I hope that my calligraphy and Mr. Shen's flower and bird paintings may inspire everyone with confidence and strength, encouraging us to reflect on our inner selves, perceive the present moment, and pursue the "Peach Blossom Paradise" within our hearts. Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity offered by the exhibition to extend my heartfeltgratitude once again to the gallery team, the curator, and Mr. Shen Yue. 贤宗法师

浙江香海禅寺方丈

浙江省佛教协会副会长，中国佛教协会理事，

获得上海交通大学硕士学位，现法国南特商学院在读博士。

法师童真入道，事佛以诚，2004年，贤宗法师应邀驻锡香海禅寺。法师提出“十方来十方去，共成十方事；万人施，万人用，同结万人缘”的寺院发展服务理念，与全体僧众历经近二十载努力，深耕细作，坚持践行人间佛教，文化润教，香海禅寺已成为以“禅修”为特色的全国四大创新型寺院之一。

曾策划并执行2006年中国首届世界佛教论坛（普陀山）

曾担任北京2008奥运会开闭幕式创意方案委托创作团队主创人员

曾担任《中国非物质文化保护》专题片艺术总监

曾为北京天安门城楼贵宾厅及中南海怀仁堂创作大幅中国画《十月金秋》、《春天》。

《琴棋书画》系列装置在2008北京奥运会场馆展出。

《梦回桃源》系列作品，曾在中国美术馆、北京今日美术馆、北京798艺术区，浙江美术馆以及意大利、新西兰等国家展出。
