明日开幕｜群展《不时宜合》即将于1月26日在北京公社开幕崇真艺客

北京公社欣然呈献群展“不时宜合”，展出艺术家常羽辰、葛宇路、胡晓媛、厉槟源、李爽、徐丝易、赵之亮和周轶伦的作品。展期将于2024年1月26日持续至3月2日。此次展览涵盖雕塑、影像、装置和场域特定的绘画作品，带来的多重经验穿梭于不同的界面与入口——屏幕、镜头、帘幕和门。入口一贯是不同空间和过去与未来的分割隐喻，但当代的生活却好像永远地站在了门槛上，强迫性地催生不断的回顾和预期，到头来似乎只是证明它们的失效和徒劳。展览通过呈现一系列摇摆于演化与腐朽、陶醉与哀悼、记忆与遗忘之间的作品，将各种错位相遇交织，来观照艺术家们独特的感受与应对。

Beijing Commune is pleased to present “Out of Place”, a group exhibition featuring works by Chang Yuchen, Ge Yulu, Hu Xiaoyuan, Li Binyuan, Li Shuang, Xu Siyi, Zhao Zhiliang, and Zhou Yilun, from January 26 to March 2, 2024. Spanning sculptures, videos, installations, and site-specific paintings, the works on display open up a multi-layered experience tunneling through different interfaces and portals: the screen, the lens, the curtain, and the door. While entrance often implies a metaphorical segmentation between the past and future, contemporary life dwells on the threshold, constantly prompting retrospection and prospection only to attest to their fecklessness and futility. Weaving a tapestry of ill-timed encounters, the exhibition spotlights a range of perceptions and adaptions, or non-adaptions, with the artists’ works oscillating between metamorphosing and decaying, reveling and mourning, and remembering and forgetting.
