史国威1977年生于河南洛阳，现生活、工作于北京。2002年毕业于清华大学美术学院（原中央工艺美术学院）平面视觉艺术交流系摄影专业；2006年获得德国多特蒙德高等专业学院/Fachhochschule Dortmund大学，摄影专业硕士学位。

Shi Guowei (1977, Luoyang, Henan) currently lives and works in Beijing. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in photography from the Department of Visual Communication at the Tsinghua University Academy of Arts & Design (the former Central Academy of Art and Design) in 2002, and he received his master's degree in photography from the Fachhochschule Dortmund in 2006.

降临在现实上的非现实景观被艺术家称为“真实的幻觉”——它是根据图像重新发起情绪的行动，以新的感觉重新配置色彩，从而打断现实的逻辑。

Shi Guowei names these unreal phenomena that descend upon reality as authentic illusions: sensory actions that re-initiate emotions based on each image. By this, he intends to interrupt the logic of reality with a configuration of color layers.

史国威将传统的照相手工上色法扩展成一种双层结构，使他的工作既不是摄影的事实捕捉，也不是绘画的凭空创造。他在摄影的客观图像上覆盖带有透明度的色彩，把世界拆分成现实和感知两个图层。通过这种方式，艺术家否定过往事实的唯一性，并在观众眼前直接篡改现实。史国威向观众证明：尽管作为事实的图像始终可见，但仅仅以色彩干扰物象的纹理就能创造全然不同的事实。

Shi Guowei further adapts the traditional photo-coloring process into a two-tiered structure, which means his process is neither capturing the fact as photography nor a creation out of nothing as painting. By re-coding the objectivity of the original image with the colored layer with transparency, his work partitions the world into two layers: reality and perception. In this way, the artist attempts to negate the unique interpretation of a past fact, and illustrate manipulation is occurring right before our eyes. Despite the established images being always visible, entirely different facts could be fabricated by a mere reconstruction of the object's textures using color layers.

“山体”场景的记录是在新疆阿勒泰地区的一处山崖。取景了一部分由于地质活动经岩浆流淌冷却后，形成的一种岩石结构。画面充满了当时岩浆流淌的痕迹，如同血管一样。经过后期的绘画部分，正如作品展示出来的，史国威保留了一部分岩石的面貌，用暗绿和蓝色为基础，展示其客观存在的一面，衬托出艺术家主观的把岩浆流淌的痕迹改写为血液和骨格的形态。蓝绿色代表了经过时间的沉淀后亿万年中仍然存在的顽强生命力，再此之上流淌着温热而鲜活的血液，完全展示出来这种动能和活力，似乎是某种未知生物的皮肤一般，它是活着的。它和作品《肉山》的区别在于，一个表现“死亡”的残酷，一个表现“活着”的鲜亮。虽然这两幅作品都取景于几乎相同的地质地貌，表达的却是“死”和“生”的两种生命的状态。

The recording scene of the Mountain Massif is on a cliff in the Altay region, filled with traces of magma flowing at that time, like blood vessels. Shi Guowei preserved a part of the rock's appearance, using dark green and blue as the basis to showcase its objective existence, highlighting his subjective rewriting of the magma flow traces into the form of blood and bone. The blue-green color represents the tenacious vitality that still exists for billions of years after the sedimentation of time, and on top of it flows warm and fresh blood, fully demonstrating the kinetic energy and vitality, as if it were the skin of an unknown organism. The difference between it and the work Meat Mountain is that one portrays the cruelty of "death" and the other portrays the brightness of "living". Although both of these works are set in almost identical geological landforms, they express the two states of life: "death" and "life".

《墙-2023》这件作品是史国威在2022年做的另一幅《墙》的延续，主要还是探讨对客观存在的主观意识覆盖的可能性。作品首先记录的是山中一处被遗弃的房屋中一面墙壁，它满载着岁月的痕迹。雨水的冲刷，植物的侵扰，让这面墙仿佛就是一幅抽象画。在这间屋子里经历了多少故事，不得而知，艺术家只是想把这个结果记录下来，成为他书写意识的载体。在这面饱经风霜的墙体上，用强烈的色彩重新为它谱写一篇新的乐章，笔触也不再受机理边界的限制，更加自如的发挥颜料的流动性。这种随机产生出来的结果，可遇不可求，在即紧张又兴奋，时而冷静时而激烈的状态下，艺术家完成了乐章，一篇激昂的乐章。

The work Wall-2023 is a continuation of another wall created by Shi Guowei in 2022, mainly exploring the possibility of covering subjective consciousness of objective existence. The work first records a wall of an abandoned house in the mountain, which is full of traces of time. The erosion of rainwater and the invasion of plants make this wall seem like an abstract painting. It is unknown how many stories have been experienced in this room. The artist just wants to record this result and become a carrier of his writing consciousness. He uses strong colors to compose a new movement for it. The brushstrokes are no longer limited by the boundaries of the mechanism, and he can more freely unleash the fluidity of the pigment. Nervous, excited, and calm, the artist completed the movement, a passionate piece of music.

APSMUSEUM是由欣稚锋艺术机构(Art Pioneer Studio)及其创始人汪斌(Robin Wong)女士创立的非营利艺术空间。APSMUSEUM关注当代艺术、建筑、设计、时尚等不同领域，意在寻找、搭建和展示彼此相互融合的“空间”可能性。APSMUSEUM试图延展出更多元的艺术与建筑、设计之间的公共文化空间，艺术与时尚之间的文化消费空间，人与社会文化之间的心理空间。APSMUSEUM坐落在上海陆家嘴中心L+Mall商场三楼，由意大利著名建筑设计事务所Stefano Boeri Achitetti担任室内设计。由展览空间APSPACE、艺术设计商店APSTORE和会晤空间APSALON三部分组成。APSMUSEUM致力于塑造一个非常独特的展览空间，能够将艺术和文化带到充满活力的零售空间概念中。

上海陆家嘴中心L+Mall位于上海陆家嘴核心区域, 邻近上海中心、环球金融中心等。体量超过140000平方米，地上10层商业，地下1层商业，坐落在“黄金角”地段，L+Mall已成为上海金融中心的新枢纽。L+Mall建筑由全球顶级建筑事务所SOM(Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP)设计，屡获国际殊荣的建筑设计事务所Benoy为这座上海核心金融区的大体量中高端购物中心提供了商业空间规划，室内设计及标识设计。

2019年，L+Mall引入巴黎老佛爷百货(Galeries Lafayette)旗舰店，同时拥有世界各大奢华品牌及小众精品等近600个品牌。融合了餐饮，休闲娱乐，跨界体验，艺术空间等多元业态。

欣稚锋艺术机构（Art Pioneer Studio）与国内外优秀艺术家、设计师和建筑师合作，致力于为城市与乡村室内外空间策划、设计并制作独一无二的定制艺术品，将触动人心的艺术力量赋予建筑空间和城市环境，以卓越的创造力打造非同凡响的公共艺术空间。

APS时刻都在探索城市与乡村公共空间的艺术可能性，在艺术项目与环境之间建立连接是APS的重要课题。我们根据项目的不同性质和特点进行整体艺术方案策划，为艺术家提供充分的创作和探索空间，为城市豪华酒店、高端写字楼、商场与住宅的室内外空间、以及艺术节项目等提供全程策展及监制服务。我们寻求艺术与不同领域之间的对话，组织并促进国际性跨学科的合作，尤其在建筑及艺术领域之间组织跨界合作，让建筑师与艺术家共同创造独一无二、量身定做的优秀公共艺术作品。

APS已与来自全球十余个国家和地区的百余位艺术家开展合作关系，并受政府委托策划执行2019上海城市空间艺术季（SUSAS 2019），同时在文华东方酒店集团、光明集团、陆家嘴集团及政府的多个境内外地产项目中担任全程艺术策划及监制顾问。
