Since 1990, after running Lamborghini's Composites Division, he has been working on the "C8" project, later unveiled at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show under the name Zonda. Immediately recognised as a timeless classic, the Zonda kicked off a new automotive era, the Hypercar era.

In 2011, the Pagani Huayra was unveiled, embodying the Renaissance and Leonardo da Vinci-inspired philosophy of Art and Science that has always guided the creative principles of Horacio Pagani. Crafted with state-of-the-art advanced composite materials, in 2012, the Huayra won the three most prestigious awards in the industry, including Car of the Year.

The ongoing research activity in the field of advanced composite materials systems leads Horacio to define ever-new formulas, which find application in subsequent models such as the Pagani Huayra BC, Huayra Roadster, Roadster BC, and the most extreme among Pagani's Hypercars, the Huayra R. The use of composite systems on recent models, developed during the early stages of Zonda, confirms the pioneering nature of his work that began over 35 years ago.

The story of Pagani Automobili continues in September 2022 when Utopia makes its debut in Milan, marking the third act of its creative journey with a dual event: the World Premiere at the Teatro Lirico and the Exhibition at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci. Characterized by a simple and unique design, the new Hypercar embodies a visionary and unconventional automotive concept. Produced in only 99 units, the first series of Utopia coupés has already been fully allocated to a select group of enthusiasts.
