Regarding urban art, it is a field that explores and focuses on public issues in society through artworks. The famous French artist Mr. Wang Du, as a special guest of Jupiter Museum of Art, had a very interesting encounter the day before he came to Shenzhen. This experience inspired him to create a special video artwork for the urban art exhibition "Urban Visions".

In observing the interaction of a passing mother and daughter, it was as if we were witnessing a familiar scene from everyday life: people understand things around them based on appearances. This kind of role reversal and way of understanding is constantly played out in our lives every day. For this exhibition, the video is not only a thought-provoking piece of performance art, but also a unique gift to the museum from the artist Mr. Wang Du. He says, "As a visitor, this is a gift from me."

出生武汉，旅居巴黎的王度，受中西方文化的影响，作品的呈现方式包括装置，雕塑，摄影，多媒体等。他宣称“我就是媒体，我就是现实，我就是图像”。王度的艺术作品多为三维绘画对象，通过这些作品批评和探索现代社会中科技、媒体与文化的互动。王度的作品显示出他对西方现代艺术的深刻理解和影响。

Born in Wuhan and living in Paris, Wang Du is influenced by both Chinese and Western cultures, and his works are presented in the form of installations, sculptures, photographs and multimedia. He declares "I am the media, I am the reality, I am the image". Wang Du's artworks are mostly three-dimensional painted objects through which he criticizes and explores the interaction between technology, media and culture in modern society. Wang Du's works show his deep understanding of and influence on Western modern art.
