藝博會｜JINGART 藝覽北京博覽會—趙趙｜Booth A04

大未來林舍畫廊將於2024年JINGART藝覽北京，帶來趙趙、徐華翎、申亮、楊伯都及劉時棟的最新創作，呈現藝術家對於東西方文化之間的思考。在西方當代思潮的激盪下，東方傳統美學舉凡藝術表現形式之揀選，抑或傳統文化題材之關懷，皆為華人藝術家所潛心探究，華人藝術美學因而掀起遞變與新生。

Lin & Lin Gallery is pleased to participate in 2024 JINGART, presenting the latest artworks by artists Zhao Zhao, Xu Hualing, Shen Liang, Yang Bodu and Liu Shih-Tung, showing the artist's thoughts on the relationship between Eastern and Western cultures. Chinese artists have explored the traditional Orient aesthetics in their choice of artistic expressions and their concern with traditional cultural themes, influenced by contemporary Western thinking, resulting in a change and renewal of Chinese art aesthetics.

趙趙融合傳統與當代的創作，揭示其置身於東西方之間的哲學思辨，以及對自身文化血緣的尋源軌跡。其新系列創作《草木》，跳脫以往傳統對花卉景物的描繪，畫面中萬紫千紅的花朵布滿了如同結粉般的小點，以草木萬物生長探討生命的延續及循環，藝術家更以英文名稱「Seeds」意指菩提子中對於生命循環的禪宗思想。

Zhao Zhoa’s paintings, which combine traditional and contemporary elements, explore his philosophical thinking between East and West, and reveal his connection to his own culture. His new series “Seeds” goes beyond the traditional depiction of floral scenes. Colorful flowers with dots explore the continuity and cycle of life. And the title “Seeds” refers to the Zen thoughts of the life circle.

趙趙1982年生於中國新疆，現工作生活於北京與洛杉磯。近年來，趙趙大膽激進的藝術實踐贏得了國際社會的重視，他曾在柏林亞歷山大?奧克斯畫廊、斯德哥爾摩Carl Kostyál基金會、洛杉磯Roberts & Tilton、紐約前波畫廊、日本三瀦畫廊、臺北大未來林舍畫廊、香港當代唐人藝術中心、北京當代唐人藝術中心、北京藝術檔倉庫、北京松美術館、北京合藝術中心等機構舉辦過個展與個人項目。他的作品也曾參加過多個機構的群展並被收藏，包括美國紐約MoMA PS1、美國佛羅裡達州坦帕美術館、烏克蘭基輔平丘克藝術中心、荷蘭格羅寧根美術館、德國柏林亞洲藝術博物館、漢堡火車站當代藝術博物館、義大利米蘭帕迪廖內當代藝術館、義大利羅馬國立21世紀美術館、法國DSL基金會、西班牙卡斯楚當代藝術中心、澳大利亞悉尼白兔美術館、香港西九龍文化區M+美術館、北京民生現代美術館、北京尤倫斯當代藝術中心、新世紀當代藝術基金會、北京泰康空間、成都麓湖?A4美術館、上海民生現代美術館、上海當代藝術館、上海星美術館、上海明當代美術館、天津美術館、湖北美術館、何香凝美術館、武漢大學萬林藝術博物館、2019烏鎮當代藝術邀請展，日本橫濱三年展等。2014年被Modern Painters列為全球最值得關注的25位藝術家之一，2017年獲得了第十一屆「AAC 藝術中國年度青年藝術家提名獎」， 2019年獲得第十三屆「AAC 藝術中國年度藝術家大獎」。並與路易威登Louis Vuitton、路虎Land Rover、耐克NIKE、VANS、Venvennet等品牌也開展過多項藝術聯名合作。

Zhao Zhao, born in Xinjiang, 1982. Now he works and lives in Beijing and Los Angeles. His provocative, multidisciplinary artist practice has garnered him international attention in recent years, includes solo shows in galleries such as Alexander Ochs Galleries (Berlin, Germany), Carl Kostyál foundation (Stockholm, Sweden), Roberts & Tilton (Log Angeles, USA), Chambers Fine Art (New York, USA), Mizuma Art Gallery (Tokyo, Japan ), Lin & Lin Gallery (Taipei), Tang Contemporary Art ( Beijing, China ), CAAW ( Beijing, China ).
