流动的状态体现在“重塑”而非“取代”既定秩序和旧有结构上。之所以选取“流动”,不仅是因为液体所具有的渗出、涌流等易变与快速移动的特性更直观且形象地反映着当下时间与空间关系的本质和转变,更因为它恰如其分地指向从创作意图到视觉呈现的过程中,创作主体意识与动作的一种本能的流动状态。

The state of mobility is embodied in "reshaping" rather than "replacing" the established order and old structure. The reason for choosing "flow" is not only because the volatile and fast-moving characteristics of liquid, such as oozing and gushing, more intuitively and vividly reflect the essence and transformation of the current relationship between time and space, but also it appropriately points to the instinctive flowing state of the creative subject's consciousness and action in the process of moving from the creative intention to the visual presentation.

近观陈镜宇的作品,精致与粗糙并行,色彩与模糊共存,有序与无序穿行。轻重缓急变幻着的笔触、自发般肆意游走的线条、在泼溅与流淌中分离又汇合的油彩,它们穿梭、叠加、异化、消亡;毫不相关的元素层层覆盖空无一物的画布,即兴的节奏感在不受拘束的能量中迸发。陈镜宇的绘画以看似没有目的性的方式制造着随机与放逐,以无秩序的秩序模糊僵化的藩篱,以适度的质疑回应现实的荒诞。它们并不刻意开拓某种理解和允诺的边界,反倒是一种内在迸发的自我放逐驱使着感官的体验达到极致。游离于画布之上看似无规则、甚至于某种荒诞意味的表象,叙述的是在失序和虚无中寻找自我的历程。笔触在张扬恣意中起落,色彩在狂躁紧密中游走;高密度的堆叠到松弛下来的释放,就像情绪从亢奋回归暴风雨前的平静。从推翻、建立到再推翻的过程就像流动的挣扎与对抗,没有结果亦没有输赢。任凭画面无数元素不被囹圄困住,从生成走向消亡,最终回归各自的命运。

Take a close look at Chen Jingyu's artworks, which delicacy and roughness are parallel, color and blurring coexist, and order and disorder are intertwined. Brush strokes that vary in weight and urgency, lines that roam freely in a spontaneous way, oils that separate and merge in splashes and flows, they intersect, overlap, alienate, and perish from each other; unrelated elements cover the empty canvas in layers, and improvisational rhythms erupt from unrestrained energy. Chen Jingyu's paintings create randomness and exile in a way seemingly purposeless, blurring rigid barriers with disordered order, and responding to the absurdity of reality with moderate skepticism. They do not deliberately broaden the boundaries of a certain understanding and agreement, but rather an inner burst of self-exile drives the sensory experience to the extreme. The seemingly disordered and even absurd images on the canvas, narrate the journey of searching for oneself in the midst of disorder and emptiness. Brushstrokes rise and fall boldly and unrestrainedly, colors wander in the frenzy and tightness; from high-density stacking to release, just like the return of emotions from exhilaration to the calmness before the storm. The process of overthrowing, building up and overthrowing again is like a flowing struggle and confrontation, with no result and no winning or losing. Let countless elements in the picture move without being trapped, from birth to extinction, and eventually return to their respective destinies.

草坡、天鹅、玩具、果实、玫瑰、怪兽......具象的形体荒诞而童趣,跳脱的元素在有限的尺幅之上构建了一处无人侵扰的乌托邦。李世公的作品,就是以这样一种散漫而不经意的创造、组合和看似矛盾般的并置,勾勒出于他而言的精神性慰藉。它可以是天真烂漫的妥协,也可以是蓄谋已久的反叛。但这样的慰藉并不属于作为艺术家的李世公个人,它依旧以敞露的方式,接纳一切驻足于他画面前观者的聚焦与凝视。缭乱而循环的笔触以圆圈的走向涂鸦般地层层叠加,对比强烈的色块毫无违和地触碰、渗透、融合进彼此的色彩;锐利的笔触清晰可见,消融的畛域也有迹可循。陌生感在颜料不停流动的痕迹中得以消解,跳脱传统视觉经验束缚的色彩毫不避讳地占据感官深处隐秘的角落。李世公的绘画像是记录个人经验的斑斓与跃动,以畅快淋漓的流体状态从中心蔓延、凝固直到爆发,任凭自由意志徜徉,也氤氲着艺术家对流行文化的感知与思考。它是随想、即兴与自由;是在否定之否定中流动着的直觉;是不被操纵的狂想曲。

The grassy slope, the swan, the toys, the fruits, the roses, the monsters ... figurative forms are absurd and childlike, cheerful elements build an undisturbed utopia on a limited scale. Li Shigong 's artworks, with such a kind of loose and unintentional creation, combination and seemingly contradictory juxtaposition, outline the spiritual solace for him. It can be a na?ve compromise or a long premeditated rebellion. But such solace does not belong to artist Li Shigong personally, it is still open to the sight and gaze of all audiences who stop in front of his pictures. Dazzling and cyclic brush strokes are stacked layer by layer like graffiti in the direction of circles, and contrasting color blocks collide, penetrate, and merge into each other's colors without any inconsistency; the sharp strokes are clearly visible, and the ablative boundaries are still traceable. The sense of strangeness dissolved in the continuous flow of paint, and the colors, which are free from the constraints of traditional visual experience, occupy the hidden corners of the innermost senses without any hesitation. Li Shigong's paintings are like a record of the splashes and leaps of personal experience, spreading from the center in a fluid state of free flow, solidifying until bursting, let individual will roaming freely, and dense with the artist's perception and thinking about pop culture. It is spontaneous thought, improvisation and freedom; it is intuition flowing in the negation of negation; it is a rhapsody that could not be manipulated.

杨陆峰的创作可以看成是当下信息时代的缩影,回应着数字符码的象征。在冷静与克制的逻辑中,被分割的区域和放大化的图像体验生成更微观的创作结果。童年玩具带来的视觉感受引发了这样一场影像与绘画的“错乱”:虚焦的红蓝通道、偏移重影特效、蓝幕与绿幕般的视觉特效被填充又留白......在真实与不真实、现实与虚拟边界的流动中,绘画该如何再现数据支配下的虚拟图像和带有数码视像属性的真实图景?剥离事物客观存在的表象,如何攫取事物背后隐匿的“真实”在杨陆峰这里,也成为了一种当务之急。杨陆峰的绘画制造了边界的抵消与模糊,当“类抖音”式的图像营造了视觉游戏体验,画框便不再成为限定和阻碍;在纯粹的个人化行为中,灵与肉正在以特定的语言和最佳的阐述方式找寻世界运行和自我存在的合理性。从抛却情绪的平涂到还原绘画语言本身,刻意制造的混沌与模糊、层层覆盖的色彩所引发的视觉差,愈发让“有”与“无”的观看关系和 “表象”与“真实”的状态在流动的思绪中,赋予去主体化的状态以合理的解释。那是“明确的模糊”,也是“模糊的明确”。

Yang Lufeng's creations can be seen as a microcosm of the current information age, responding to the symbols of digital codes. In the logic of calmness and restraint, the segmented area and magnified image experience generate a more microscopic creative result. The visual experience brought by childhood toys triggers such a "confusion" between images and paintings: defocused red and blue channels, offset and image overlap effects, visual effects like blue or green screen are filled in and left blank ... in the flowing of the boundary of real and unreal, actual and virtual, how could painting reproduce the virtual image under the domination of data and the real view with digital visual attributes? Stripping away the representation of things that objective exist, how to capture the hidden "reality" behind things are also an urgent task for Yang Lufeng. Yang Lufeng's paintings offsett and blur the boundaries, and when the "Tiktok-like" images create a visual game experience, the frame no longer becomes a limit or obstacle; in a purely personalized action, the spirit and the flesh are searching for the reasonableness of the world's operation and self-existence with a specific language and the best way of elaboration. From the emotionless painting to the restoration of the painting language itself, the chaos and blurring be deliberately created, and the visual error caused by the layers of colors covering the painting, relationship between "something" and "nothing" and the state of "representation" and "reality" in the flow of thoughts, more and more give a reasonable explanation to the state of de-subjectivity. It is the "definite ambiguity", and also the "indistinct clarity".

此次三个单元区别于以往,首次打通展陈空间物理层面的阻隔,打破分隔叙事的常规,指向观看状态的流动。正如鲍曼在《流动的现代性》中所言,流动的状态就像液体一般流动和变形,它无法建立起一套权威的秩序体系,只是在“自我超越”中不断否定。正是在这种条件下,产生了不可靠性、不确定性和不安全感的困境。更新与迭代预示着流动无处不在,流动的本能是前提,艺术家们的创作在某种程度上是一种绵延,也是一种敞开。


展览将于7月13日开幕,展出持续至2024年9月8日,欢迎前来观展。


Different from the past, this is the first time that "Three Unit Plan" will be displayed in a way of breaking through the physical barrier of each exhibiton hall, abandoning the conventional separated narratives, and pointing to mobile viewing. As Baumann said in Liquid modernity, the state of mobility is like a flows and deforms liquid, it is unable to establish a set of authoritative order system, but only keep continuous negation in the "self-transcendence". It is under these conditions that the dilemmas of unreliability, uncertainty and insecurity arise. Renewal and iteration signify the ubiquity of mobility, and the instinct of mobility is the prerequisite. To some extent, artists' creations are a kind of extension and a kind of openness.
