何伟｜HE Wei

He Wei was born in Xinjiang in 1980 and graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Oil Painting Department in 2005. He currently lives and works in Beijing.

王光乐｜WANG Guangle

王光乐，1976年出生于福建，2000年毕业于中央美术学院油画系，现生活及工作于北京。他的作品至今在多个国家展出，其中包括加利福尼亚亚太三年展（2013）和釜山双年展（2010）。同时他还参加了荷兰鹿特丹波伊曼斯·范伯宁恩美术馆、意大利博岑Museion美术馆、美国卢贝尔家族迈阿密私人收藏博物馆、澳大利亚白兔美术馆、德国路德维希美术馆、北京今日美术馆、上海民生现代美术馆、上海龙美术馆、中央美术学院美术馆等机构的多次群展，他的个展多在北京公社和佩斯纽约和伦敦举行。近期个展包括香港The Uncommon，西安南山社和佩斯首尔。

Wang Guangle was born in Fujian Province in 1976, he graduated with BA in oil painting at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2000. He currently lives and works in Beijing. His paintings have been extensively shown worldwide. Museums that have shown his art include Museum Boijmans Van in the Netherlands, Museion in Bozen in Italy, Rubell Family Collection and Contemporary Arts Foundation in Miami, White Rabbit Art Museum in Australia, Museum Ludwig in Germany, Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, Long Museum in Shanghai, the Museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, and so on. He was also shown at the Busan Biennale, Korea (2010) and California-Pacific Triennial, Orange County, U.S. (2013). His solo shows have been held both at Beijing Commune and Pace Gallery in New York and London. Recent personal exhibitions include Hong Kong The Uncommon, Xi’an Nan Shan Society, and Pace Seoul.

翟倞｜ZHAI Liang

翟倞，1983年生于山西。2006年毕业于四川美术学院油画系，2009年获得中央美术学院油画系硕士学位。翟倞善于凭借其画作中若隐若现的象征，将观者引向某些文学时刻——小品和喜剧电影中的诙谐片段、生活里亦真亦幻的顿悟和想象、耐人寻味的社会关系。

近年的创作又显示出是一次大胆的出走，彰显出一位文学和绘画的长期读者新一轮的破与立：尝试用放松的手感对着个人记忆写形，却又赋予画面以一种叙事将至未至的织物质地；代表性的诙谐效果得到延续，但不再仅仅依靠现实与文本中喜剧人物的形象和他们的姿势，而是透过无数曲线和骚动不安的曲面，从众多由此形成的果冻样形状东倒西歪的“叠罗汉”中内生出来；取法勃鲁盖尔父子的乡村狂欢节图景，穿过几年前极大影响了翟倞后续创作的印度旅行，被秘密嫁接到偶得的中国经验之上，从上古传奇，到工厂下班时骑单车同行的浪漫，再到上世纪末“跳舞时代”的风流，最终将怀旧情绪的讽喻变体深植于画面。

Zhai Liang was born in Shanxi Province in 1983. received his BFA from the Oil Painting Department of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (SFAI) in 2006, he graduated with a Master’s degree from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in 2009. Zhai Liang excelled at using ambiguous symbols to lead viewers into literary moments. He always cleverly combined humorous vignettes from short stories and comedy films and ambiguous perceptions and visions from everyday life with the contemplation of social relationships.

The works in recent years mark a bold departure from his previous work, reflecting a new round of destruction and creation from a long-time lover of literature and painting. Zhai takes a relaxed approach as he gives form to personal memories, but he also imbues the images with the woven textures of narratives that seem nearly— but not quite—over. His trademark humor continues in these paintings, but he no longer relies solely on comedic figures and their gestures from real life and media; instead, he transforms them into towering, jelly-like shapes comprised of countless curved lines and restless rounded surfaces. In other pieces, Zhai secretly grafts rural carnival scenes painted by Pieter Bruegel the Elder and his son and images from a trip to India a few years ago that had an immense influence on his subsequent work onto spontaneous Chinese experience. Nostalgic variants of legendary works of literature, the romance of colleagues riding their bicycles home from the factory, and the sophistication of the pair dancing era are deeply implanted in still other paintings.

贺潇｜Fiona He

贺潇，独立策展人，艺术写作者，资深艺术类翻译。毕业于麦吉尔大学美术史专业，她曾任职于亚洲艺术文献库中国大陆研究员和艺术论坛中文网编辑。

她长期关注艺术创作与观看在媒介进化中的演变，尤其是对于绘画的影响；晚期资本主义时期的时间观念，以及展示的政治。

她近期的写作出版于：《玛丽亚·拉斯尼格：火星来客》；《段建伟：油画作品》；《冈瑟·弗格：路与径》；《周思维：I Sold What I Grow》；《张雪瑞：物静光时》；《Fredrik Vaerslev: Renne》等。她的近期策展项目包括: 《周力：桃花源·迹》，坪山美术馆；《奇想之春》，北京拾万空间；《余生记》，深圳红树林画廊；《众妙之家》，上海天线空间；等。

她长期诸多国内和国际知名艺术刊物供稿。

Fiona He, an art writer and curator based in Beijing. He graduated from McGill University with a degree in Art History and Asian Studies. She served as a researcher at the Asia Art Archive, and an editor for Artforum.com.cn.

He's research interests include the impact of media and technology on human perception and reception, particularly in the medium of painting; the notion of temporality in the late capitalist era; and on the politics of representations.

Her recent essays are included in the publications:Maria Lassnig: Happy Martian (UCCA); Duan Jianwei: Oil Paintings (catalogue raisonne); Zhou Siwei: I sold What I Grow (Vienna Secession); Günther Forg: Trunk Road and Branch Roads (Long Museum); Fredrik Vaerslev: Renne (Frac Bretagne, France). Zhang Xuerui: In Search of Lost Time (Urs Meile Gallery). Her recent curatorial projects include, "A Descent into Maelstrom," Mangrove Gallery, Shenzhen; "Zhou Li: Tracing Peach Blossom Springs," Pingshan Art Museum; "A Spring of Magical Thinking," Hunsand Space, Beijing; "Between Landscapes: Jiang Zhi Solo Exhibition," Mangrove Gallery, Shenzhen; "The House of Perception", Antenna Space, Shanghai, etc.

He is a long-time contributor to several art publications, including a feature column on painting for The Art Newspaper (Chinese edition), ARTFORUM, Art-Ba-Ba, Flash Art, Artnet, Leap, Art Review Asia, Yishu, etc.

REFLEXION is a contemporary art gallery centered on artists and driven by art. Established in 2024, the gallery is in an iconic Bauhaus building, built in 1950, in 798 Art District, with over 200 sq.m. of exhibition area. REFLEXION is a way we perceive the world and is the pulse that vibrates and explores how space and art flow along our inner landscape to set new boundaries.
