新展预告｜陈维：系统之梦

在即将到来的十月，活跃于国际艺术舞台的艺术家陈维将于 Fotografiska 呈现他的个人展览《系统之梦》，为观众带来影像艺术的新形式及新可能。

将叙事延伸至展览空间，以情境再访的方式，陈维重塑了叙事图像的可能性。通过不拘泥于固定模式的多维度表达，他创造了思考的场域，邀请每一位在场的观者重新思考在技术驱动的社会中，如何确立起自我的时间和独立的精神。

In October, Fotografiska is honored to present the exhibition 'Sweet Dreams' by artist Chen Wei, who brings inspiring ways of art expression to audience. Chen Wei has increasingly extended his practice to the exhibition site, continuously employing variousmedia such as video, sound, and installation to reshape the possibilities of narrative images through scenario re-enacting. 

Through  multidimensional artistic expression, he creates a space for thinking, inviting the viewers torethink how to establish one’s own sense of time and the integrity of an individual in a technology-driven society.

多维的创作经历塑造了当代艺术家陈维丰富的视觉表达，他最初从事实验音乐与声音艺术的创作与表演，而后转向影像及装置的创作。近年来，陈维以其独特的视觉风格和对社会议题的深刻探索为人们熟知。他擅长通过色彩与构图的巧妙运用，以及多媒介的融合表达，将观众引入一个充满情感张力与深度思考的艺术世界。

The multidimensional creative experience has shaped the artist's visual expression in broader perspectives. He initially engaged in the performance of experimental music and sound art before transitioning to the creation of photography, video and installation. 

In recent years, Chen Wei has gained recognition for his unique visual style and profound exploration of social issues. He excels at playing with color and composition cleverly, along with a fusion of media, to draw viewers into an art world filled with emotional tension and deep reflection.

在即将开幕的展览《系统之梦》中，陈维将展出一系列全新创作。展览透过艺术家观念性的拍摄，细密的舞台制作和剧场化的建构，为观众打造了一个沉浸式的视听环境，带领观众切近一个由虚拟与真实所交织出的时间碎片中。

在快节奏的日常里，人们辗转于各种屏幕，将生活与工作置于其中，甚至最基本的生物需求如“睡眠”也依赖于例如 ASMR (自发性知觉经络反应) 的在线或视觉内容——艺术家模拟了当代城市生活困境，同时也向观者发问：在这个信息过载的时代，真正的“好梦”究竟是什么？是逃避现实的短暂安宁，还是对自我与世界关系的重新审视？

The exhibition 'Sweet Dreams' will showcase a set of new artworks by the artist created for this ocassion. Focusing on the screen-dominated nature of contemporary life, the exhibition is presented in a theatrical format that draws the viewers into a fragmented time-space of interwoven virtual and reality.

The artist simulates the dilemmas of contemporary urban life —— people are confronted with the pervasive presence of blue light and digital information. In an era of information overload, what constitutes the notion of a true ‘sweet dream’? Is it a fleeting escape from reality, or a reexamination of our relationship with the world? By providing a platform for reflection, this exhibition prompts viewers to delve into the complex relationships between the internet, sleep, and human beings.

10月13日，一起进入陈维打造的“艺术叙事之境”。

来自瑞典斯德哥尔摩的 Fotografiska，是当代影像、艺术和文化生活的国际性地标，始终致力于向公众呈现全球顶尖的影像作品、重新定义当代影像艺术新体验，同时也关注来自中国本土和亚洲地区的影像艺术创作者，旨在塑造充满活力、创新与包容的国际性文化艺术社区。

Fotografiska影像艺术中心提供精心策划的展览、活动、音乐派对、沙龙主题讲座等一系列文化活动，以提升中国本土艺术家的国际知名度，在全球舞台上展现其才华。冰淇淋店、咖啡馆、露天酒吧和餐厅等生活消费场所也遍布展馆内的四层楼空间。Fotografiska影像艺术中心日常将开放至深夜11点，观众可以更灵活安排时间探索和体验。
