Student: ￥120

Notices:

Only WeChat Pay, Alipay, Chinese debit and credit cards are accepted for online payment.
If you were unable to purchase tickets online, you can obtain tickets on-site at the Service Center (First floor). The Service Center accepts payments from international debit and visa cards.
Guests with e-tickets should exchange paper tickets at the Service Center before entry.
The ticket is valid for use from October 11, 2024, to February 28, 2025 (Visiting hours: Monday to Sunday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, last entry at 5:30 PM.)
The ticket is non-refundable.
Full-time students and seniors aged 65 and above are eligible for discounted ticket prices. Please have your relevant documents (Student Card or ID card) ready for verification.
Children 1.2 meters tall and under can enter for free.

Before you come, we suggest you book your time slot for the immersive interactive experiencing area on the fourth floor to avoid extended waiting.

Step1: Choose the date of visit, time slot, and number of reservations in sequence, and submit.

Step2: Enter your phone number to receive a verification code. Only Chinese phone numbers are accepted.

Step3: Once your phone number is verified, provide the names and phone numbers of the visitors, then submit.

Notices:

Please arrive at the 4th-floor entrance at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time (e.g. if your scheduled time is 11:00-12:00, please arrive by 10:50 at the latest.)
Exception: if your scheduled time slot is 10:00-11:00 am, please arrive on time at 10:00.
Late policy: Visitors who arrive late will be treated as non-reserved guests for that day and will need to wait in line with other non-reserved visitors in the waiting area.
If you need to change your reservation time, please cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled time and select a new time slot.
Follow the instructions of the on-site volunteers to temporarily store your mobile phone, camera, and other electronic devices on the fourth floor.
Photography is prohibited on the fourth floor.
Please collect your belongings promptly after the experience.

01 Q：If I can’t purchase tickets online, can I buy them on-site?

A: Yes, you can visit our service center on the 1st floor of MAM Shanghai to purchase tickets. We accept cash, card, WeChat Pay, and Alipay.

02 Q：If I don’t have a Chinese phone number to register, can I still book a time slot online?

A: : I'm sorry, you won't be able to book a time slot online.

03 Q：If I fail to book the time slot for the fourth floor online, can I still visit?

A: Yes, you can still visit, but you will need to queue on-site for entry and follow the arrangements made by our on-site staff. Due to the limited staff at our art museum, we recommend visiting during off-peak hours to minimize waiting times. Peak hours are Monday to Friday from 2:00 to 4:00pm, and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

04 Q：Where is the waiting area?

A: The waiting area is located on the third floor, near the spiral staircase. Our on-site staff will guide you to the queue.

05 Q：If I wait in line, will I be guaranteed entry to the fourth floor?

A: I'm sorry, but we must prioritize those who have booked their time slots online to ensure they can fully experience the installations on the fourth floor. For guests queuing on-site, our staff will make every effort to coordinate and accommodate your visit, but we cannot estimate the waiting time or guarantee entry, especially during peak hours. Again, we strongly recommend visiting during off-peak hours if you don't have a reservation.

06 Q：What is the last time to wait in line?

A: The final time to join the queue is 5:30 PM. You will not be allowed to join the waiting line after this time.

07 Q：Which floor should I start my visit from?

A: We recommend starting your visit on the second floor. However, if your reservation time is nearing upon arrival, we suggest going to the fourth floor first to avoid missing your scheduled time, and then continuing your visit on the second and third floors afterward.
