蔡依庭的創作多以身邊人物形象的肖像畫為主軸，並圍繞於不同對象精神狀態的描繪，嘗試捕捉人物內在的真實感受。畫面上，藝術家透過飽和濃郁的色彩，在反覆塗抹、摩擦紙質的手法下，創造具層次性的色塊，並堆疊出富有深意的畫面，展現與當下自我的對話。

Tsai Yi-Ting's works are based on portraits of the people around her and revolve around the depiction of the mental states of different subjects. She attempts to capture the true inner feelings of the characters. In the painting, the artist employs the rich and saturated colors to create layered color blocks by repetitively smearing and rubbing the paper to stack the images with deep meanings, showing a dialogue with the current self.
