Introduction
首届可穿戴艺术与人文学科国际研讨会，旨在响应全球艺术与人文的汇聚，探讨可穿戴艺术与人文学科的交叉融合。本次会议由湖北美术学院、湖北省美术家协会主办，旨在通过跨学科的对话，探索可穿戴艺术在人文学科教育中的应用与创新。会议将聚焦于可穿戴艺术如何促进人文学科的教学与研究，以及如何通过艺术与科技的结合，培养学生的创新思维和实践能力。我们将邀请来自世界各地的专家学者、艺术家、设计师和教育工作者，共同探讨可穿戴艺术在人文学科中的新趋势、新理念和新实践。通过本次研讨会，我们期望能够激发新的学术思考，促进国际间的交流与合作，为可穿戴艺术与人文学科的融合发展提供理论支持和实践指导。我们相信，通过这次盛会，将为参与者带来启发性的见解，推动可穿戴艺术与人文学科的深度融合，共同开启人类生活创新的新篇章。
The inaugural International Symposium on Wearable Art and Humanities is designed to engage with the global trend of educational innovation by investigating the intersection of wearable art and the humanities. Organized by the Hubei Artists Association, the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, and the Hubei IFA - Fashion & Art Center, this symposium aspires to cultivate interdisciplinary dialogue regarding the application and innovation of wearable art within humanities education. The conference will concentrate on how wearable art can enhance the teaching and research within the humanities and how the confluence of art and technology can nurture students' creative thinking and practical skills. We will extend invitations to experts, scholars, artists, designers, and educators from across the globe to examine new trends, concepts, and practices in wearable art as they pertain to the humanities. Through this symposium, we aim to inspire novel academic insights, foster international exchange and collaboration, and provide both theoretical support and practical guidance for the integration of wearable art and the humanities. We are confident that this event will present participants with profound perspectives and stimulate the profound integration of wearable art with the humanities, thus ushering in a new chapter of innovation in human existence.

Under this theme, we concentrate on how the body functions as a novel medium for artistic expression and humanities research, as well as how wearable technology has the potential to extend the physical boundaries of the body and enhance human perception and interaction. The symposium will rigorously examine the multifaceted dimensions of the body in contemporary society, exploring the interrelationships among body and identity, body and space, and body and technology. Through interdisciplinary dialogue, we aspire to stimulate new academic reflections and foster innovative advancements in both artistic and humanistic domains. Artists, designers, scholars, and technology experts will collaboratively investigate how wearable art can transform our comprehension of the human condition and enrich the conceptual frameworks of the humanities through innovative bodily expressions. 论题范围：论述结合 “身体之维”展开，论题包含但不限于如下领域Topics of Discussion：The discussion will revolve around the theme of 'Dimensions of the Body,' encompassing but not limited to the following areas.1.身体表达与文化叙事：研究可穿戴艺术如何作为一种新的文化表达形式，传递和重塑叙事。分析艺术家、设计师如何利用可穿戴技术来讲述故事，以及这些故事如何反映和影响我们对文化和社会现象的理解。Body Expression and Cultural Narratives: This topic examines how wearable art serves as a new form of cultural expression, conveying and reshaping narratives. It analyzes how artists and designers utilize wearable technology to tell stories, and how these narratives reflect and impact our understanding of cultural and social phenomena.2. 身体空间与环境互动：分析可穿戴艺术在塑造和扩展身体与物理空间关系中的作用。讨论如何通过可穿戴设备增强身体对环境的感知能力，以及这种增强如何影响我们与周围世界的互动。Interaction of Body Space and Environment: This section analyzes the role of wearable art in shaping and extending the relationship between the body and physical space. It discusses how wearable devices can enhance the body's perceptual capabilities towards the environment, and how this enhancement influences our interactions with the surrounding world.03/
Main venue of the Inaugural International Symposium on Wearable Art and the Humanities首届可穿戴艺术与人文学科国际研讨会主会场将邀请知名学者以“身体之维”为背景作主题演讲。通过可穿戴艺术的发声，不仅是对个体身体经验的探索，也是对人类共同体在全球化背景下的身体语言和文化表达的反思。每位主讲嘉宾发言时间为20-30分钟。The primary venue of the Inaugural International Symposium on Wearable Art and the Humanities will convene distinguished scholars to present keynote addresses centered on the theme "Dimensions of the Body." Through the perspective of wearable art, this venue seeks to not only investigate individual bodily experiences but also to reflect on the bodily language and cultural expressions of the human community within the framework of globalization. 首届可穿戴艺术与人文学科国际研讨会分会场将邀请优秀教师、青年学者、研究生代表作主题演讲。以“身体表达与文化叙事”“身体空间与环境互动”为背景作为分会场主题演讲。通过分会场主题的深入研究与交流，将为可穿戴艺术与人文学科的融合发展提供新的视角和可能性。每位嘉宾发言时间为15-20分钟。The sub-venue of the Inaugural International Symposium on Wearable Art and the Humanities will convene distinguished educators, emerging scholars, and graduate representatives to present keynote addresses. The themes for the sub-venue will focus on "The Construction of Body and Identity," "Body Space and Environmental Interaction," and "Body Expression and Cultural Narratives." Through comprehensive research and exchanges on these topics, we aim to provide novel perspectives and possibilities for the integration of wearable art and the humanities. Each keynote speaker will be allotted 15 to 20 minutes for their presentation.Preliminary Review Arrangement
2024首届可穿戴艺术与人文学科国际研讨会面向全国征文，初审采取盲审形式，适合分会场主题方向的文章摘要择优入选会议发言。请下载官方表格，根据表格要求进行信息填写，并提交摘要。截止时间为11月15日，官方邮箱：wearableart@163.com。The 2024 Inaugural International Symposium on Wearable Art and Humanities is now accepting nationwide paper submissions. A double-blind review process will be implemented, with abstracts closely aligned to the thematic focus of each sub-venue to be selected for presentation. Authors are requested to download the official submission form, complete all required information, and submit their abstract. The submission deadline is November 15.
