Casting Call for Performance at TANK Shanghai in March 2025. English speaking Shanghai based performers only.

Casting reference

Requirements: 

• Female-identifying or female-presenting individuals.

• Age: 25-45, or similar looking.

• Physically flexible, strong, and assertive.

• Maximum height: 160cm

• Familiarity with the “Continental Breakfast” performance concept

• Comfortable wearing stilettos and embodying an authoritative , professional role.

• Availability in person from March 8-20, 2025 and for a recorded Zoom interview in February 2025.

Submission Details:

• Please submit the following by February 20, 2025, at the latest to: jobs@tanksh.cn with your name.

• Full-body photos (preferably in a white shirt).

• Headshot.

• Measurements (height, weight and shoe size).

• Description of previous experience related to performance in art, cinema, service culture, or roles such as bouncer.

Important Information:

• Zoom Interviews: The interviews will be recorded, and the material may be included in a documentary about the artist.

• Performance Filming: The performance itself will also be filmed, with additional footage potentially incorporated into the exhibition and documentation of the project.

What to Expect:

• Performers will be part of a high-profile performance art installation

• Rehearsals and fittings will take place in Shanghai.

• Interviews will be conducted via Zoom in February 2025.
