混合智能艺术季

在人工智能和数字艺术深潜

2025年4月21日，昊美术馆在去年开启的人工智能数字艺术年旗下，将推出新一季“混合智能艺术”展，在日新月异的人工智能数字之海深潜，认识解构人与技术深度纠缠中涌现的新型关系，聚焦人工智能与人类意识交错的混合智能艺术，映照我们的生活时代，回应人工智能势突飞猛进的当下，如何更新何以为人的终极思考。

由艺术家费俊带领的某集体策展团队与昊美术馆策展团队共同打造的新展“后窗·寓言”，通过17位（组）国内外艺术家的25件作品，呈现文本、声音、装置和互动体验的交错中，AI不但是窗口，更拥有某种寓言涌现的存在。在对人工智能发展历史的回溯，展示艺术家在与AI、算法、建模等创作手段的双向合作中的生成艺术。艺术作品超越人类中心主义视角，以行星思维想象生命历史，用未来考古守护人类精神家园，将算法赋于的人类语言重新诗化，构思出人类文化的当下寓言。展览还审视了性别不平等、数字歧视和其他人类社会诟病反射在算法中的陷阱，提醒AI时代如何塑造公平、透明、包容的文化典故和未来叙事。

由张海涛策划的“穿越本体——机器人艺术中国”集结19位（组）中国艺术家的25件作品参展，以中国的人形机器人艺术为研究方向，强化人形具身机器人研究领域与艺术的结合。当机器人的钢铁之躯以更类似人类的外壳接近人类，并以主人公的视角去自主地感知世界的时候，人类传统认知的本体论裂变出多种形态。具身智能高度参与的人类社会未来，需要构建新的社会规则和秩序，新的伦理道德标准。人类将如何着陆？展览为这些当下社会的热点话题做出艺术与技术混合的视觉和感知回应。

就如同我们谈论每一次艺术流派的出现与所处社会的时代背景的密切关系一样，AI数字艺术的发展也映射着我们所处时代的希望与梦想，焦虑与恐惧。我们与AI的关系不是取代与消灭的二元对立，而是人类遭遇的挑战与机遇。与以往的技术革命不同的是，人工智能是所有人类技术发明中唯一具有自主性的工具。随着数字生命的边界被拓展，人类感知被翻新，文化身份含义更多元化，权力结构被重写，这个具有主体性的工具会不断生出新意义。“混合智能艺术季”的两个展览，希望让观众感受到新的数字人文主义下人类的生存状态，鼓励地球公民做链接动物、机器、自然、乃至宇宙时空的行动者。在后人类主义的图景中，必然有AI与我们共建的混合智能艺术。

DeepDiving in AI and Digital Art

HOW Art Museum is pleased to reveal our next AI and Digital Art Season from 12th, April to 17th Aug under the theme "Hybrid Intelligent Art", we'd present two exhibitions focusing on the interwind relationship between AI and human creativity. Today, the fast development of AI is constantly reflecting the complex situation of the time we live in. Between human and technology, we have never been so deeply entangled as we are now. The relentless algorithm-defined society pushes us to think again the ultimate quest of what it means to be human.

The exhibition "Rear Window & Real Wonder" co-curated by Dr. Fei Jun and our museum deep-dives in  the history of AI, and present artworks that have undergone hybrid collaboration between artists and AI, engaging algorithms, 3D modeling and other AI solutions. By looking back to the development of AI, the exhibition also exams gender inequality, digital discrimination and other human society's bias reflecting in its development. Transcending the anthropocentric view-point, and encouraging the viewers to imagine the history of life with a planetary perspective, the exhibition provides insightful reflections over our own cultural history and future narrative. 

The exhibition "Media Creation and Ontology Transit: Chinese Robot Art", curated by Zhang Haitao, exams China's humanoid robotic art as an important form of Embodied Artificial Intelligence (EAI). When humanoid robots approach humans with their steel bodies, they are not just tools, but embodied with perception to the world and can take actions autonomously, thus put the ontology of traditional human cognition under attack. The highly integrated EAI demands the reconstruction of social rules and orders, even new ethical and moral standards in our society. How are we going to land? The exhibition provides some visual and perceptive responses to these hot topics. 

Between AI and Humans, it is not a dichotomy of replacement and elimination, but rather a challenge and an opportunity for the humanity. Unlike all previous technical revolutions in human history, AI is the only human invention with an autonomy that has the ability to make own decisions. As the boundaries of digital life are expanding and human perceptions keep on updating, our cultural identities become more diversified in the new era. By launching the Hybrid Intelligent Art Season, we hope to present the impact of AI and digital humanism to our state of mind today. As the active agents in the post-humanism society, we are here to act and to connect with animals, machines, nature and even cosmos. At the end of the day, the Hybrid Intelligent Art is a product of close collaborations between AI and human mind.
