如恩荣幸入围「奥地利砖筑奖 Brick Award 2026」

由Wienerberger组织的奥地利砖筑奖（Brick Award）近期公布Top50提名名单。由如恩设计改造的老鼎丰北京成功入围，将与来自世界各地的49个作品进行最终角逐，获奖名单将于2026年6月揭晓。

Organized by Wienerberger, the Brick Award 26 has recently revealed its Top 50 nominated projects. Our Lao Ding Feng Beijing project has been nominated and will be considered for the Brick Award 26 honors. The winners will be announced in June 2026.

如恩受邀对朗园Station内的一处旧织造厂房进行适应性改造，为创立于1911年的老字号糕点品牌老鼎丰设计总部办公室及概念旗舰店。设计在保留的砖砌外壳内精心植入新的现浇混凝土结构。

Neri&Hu was called upon to design the adaptive reuse of an old warehouse building once used for cotton textile production for the main office and retail concept store for the historical Chinese pastry brand called Lao Ding Feng founded in 1911. It carefully inserts a new cast concrete structure within the preserved brick shell.

刻意设置的开口与留白形成展示空间与办公区域，构建了一场新旧材料的对话——经工匠使用凿锤，细致雕琢打磨的混凝土呈现出柔和的质感，既与旧砖肌理形成对比，又相得益彰。正如老鼎丰糕点品牌自身的悠久传统，此次当代介入通过材料的并置致敬历史：新建的混凝土结构如同容器般包裹并凸显仓库原有的砖砌肌理，在保留历史记忆的同时赋予空间新的生命。

The intervention - with its deliberate openings and negative spaces forming galleries and offices - creates an architectural dialogue where bush-hammered concrete's soft texture both contrasts with and complements the original masonry. Like the pastry brand's own storied tradition, this contemporary insertion celebrates history through material juxtaposition: the new concrete structure cradles and highlights the warehouse's original brick fabric, keeping its memory intact while giving it new purpose.

老鼎丰北京项目不仅获得了国际奖项的关注，也使其成为探讨建筑与人文价值的理想场所。由《三联生活周刊》主办的2025年第三届三联人文城市奖，其终评会于近期在该建筑内举行。如恩设计研究室创始合伙人胡如珊受邀担任该奖项的初审评委。

Lao Ding Feng Beijing project has not only garnered international award recognition but has also established the space as an ideal venue for discussing architectural and humanistic values. The final jury review for the City for Humanity Awards 2025, organized by LIFE WEEK, was recently held in Lao Ding Feng Beijing. Rossana Hu, Founding Partner of Neri&Hu Design and Research Office, was also invited to serve as a preliminary judge for the awards.

改造后的建筑一楼为概念旗舰店、展示空间、室外庭院及咖啡厅，二楼为总部办公室。新旧结构之间的间质空间则被设计为咖啡厅和多功能空间。穿梭于砖墙结构中的“雕塑作品”之间，新与旧的间质，连接了过去、现在与未来，也为这个传统糕点品牌筑建了新的栖居之所。

The ground floor contains the exhibition area, the flagship store, the garden and the cafe while the second floor is mainly the head office. The gap spaces between the new object and the original shell become flexible areas for a café and multipurpose lobby. Traversing through the new concrete object and experiencing the interstitial spaces between the new insertion and the old building brings a sense of connectivity between past, present, and future and gives this historical Beijing pastry brand a new home.
