胶囊｜郑喆欣：静默的渗透｜展览现场

郑喆欣以绘画为媒介，探索内在情感与外在世界之间的微妙张力。她的作品表面宁静，内里却潜藏着混乱的暗流，通过扭曲的线条与非传统的色彩调性，营造出神秘且层次丰富的氛围。以日常风景、旅途中短暂的片段，以及情感与幻想的交织为灵感来源，她将这些稍纵即逝的体验转化为持久的视觉叙事，反映人类经验中难以言喻的深层情感。她运用错乱的比例与大胆而富有感染力的色彩，构建出既熟悉又疏离的画面，捕捉那些难以用语言表达的情感与记忆。她认为每一幅画作都是一个独立的载体，作为艺术家与观者之间无声对话的媒介。她邀请观众重新审视生活中的细微暗流，并在画作中静谧的混乱里，发掘属于自己的个人故事。

郑喆欣现生活及工作于香港。于2021年毕业于香港浸会大学视觉艺术系，获学士学位。

Cheng Chit Yan’s practice employs painting as a medium to explore the subtle tension between inner emotions and the external world. Beneath the tranquil surfaces of the works lies an undercurrent of chaos, articulated through distorted lines and vibrant, unconventional color palettes that create mysterious, layered atmospheres. Drawing inspiration from everyday landscapes, fleeting moments of travel, and the intricate fusion of emotions and fantasies, the artist transforms these transient experiences into enduring visual narratives that reflect the unspoken complexities of human experience. By incorporating disorienting proportions and bold, evocative hues, the artist constructs imagery that feels both familiar and estranged, capturing emotions and memories that resist verbal articulation. She considers every artwork to be a standalone vessel, fostering a silent dialogue between the artist and the viewer. Through these works, Cheng invites audiences to pause, reconnect with the subtle undercurrents of their lives, and uncover personal narratives within the quiet chaos of the compositions. 

Cheng Chit Yan lives and works in Hong Kong. She graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree
