“海棠未雨，梨花先雪，一半春休。”春已过半，海棠尚未飘落成雨，梨花却已如雪盛开，前后错落宛如水中荡起涟漪。此刻的春意亦如流水般积蓄、辗转，无可挽回地流去。

徐明皓的作品有一层水意，“水”贯穿于徐明皓的一系列人生轨迹。从求学时期所在的中国美术学院，到毕业后定居于钱塘江畔，从西子湖畔到钱塘江边，再回归至工作，这份经历是他对水最真实的感知。

本次个展名为《一半春休》，展出艺术家跨越十年的创作。当我们置身展厅空间，层层叠叠的波纹不仅构成视觉的律动，同时也像是一种可以让人触摸的情绪，连接着观者与画面之间长远的互动。而经由触感的反复累积，长久的记忆使某些熟悉的地方不单单是美丽的风景，这些风景开始变得潮湿，有了回忆和思念。

The crabapple blossoms have not yet fallen like rain,while the pear flowers have already bloomed like snow—half of spring has passed.

Spring is already half over. The crabapple flowers have not yet drifted down like rain, but the pear blossoms have already bloomed fully, like snow. The scene unfolds in layers, one after another, like ripples spreading across water. At this moment, the spirit of spring flows like water—accumulating, meandering, and irreversibly slipping away.

Xu Minghao's works hold a water-like quality. "Water" runs through many phases of his life's journey—from his student days at the China Academy of Art, to settling by the Qiantang River after graduation, moving from the shores of West Lake to the banks of the Qiantang, and then back to his artistic practice. This path represents his most authentic perception of water.

This solo exhibition, titled *When Sping is Half Gone*, presents works created by the artist over the past decade. As we step into the gallery space, the layered ripples not only create a visual rhythm but also feel like an emotion one can almost touch, connecting the viewer to the painting in a sustained dialogue. Through the repeated accumulation of such tactile sensations, long-held memories transform familiar places—they are no longer merely beautiful landscapes. These scenes begin to feel moist, imbued with recollection and longing.

关于艺术家丨About the Artists

徐明皓

徐明皓(b.1985)出生于浙江余姚。2010 年毕业于中国美术学院油画系第四工作室，现工作生活于杭州。

Xu Minghao (b. 1985) was born in Yuyao, Zhejiang. He graduated from the Fourth Studio of the Oil Painting Department at the China Academy of Art in 2010. He currently works and lives in Hangzhou.
