胶囊欣然呈现孔令楠（1983年生于中国吉林，现工作生活于北京）的个展“愚人之旅”，展出艺术家最新创作的木板油画作品。展览位于中国香港黄竹坑业勤街39号 Landmark South 25层2501室，将于2026年3月21日开幕，持续至4月12日。

《愚人之旅》 (2023 - 2024) 系列包含22件木板油画，是对22张大阿卡纳塔罗牌的隐喻性解读，代表一个人从无知到智慧、从混沌到圆满的精神成长过程。它将愚人视为旅程的主角，作品通过每张塔罗牌所象征的原型与阶段，展现个体如何经历生命中的各种挑战、转变与领悟。

《魔术师》的创造力和主动性为愚人带来的意识和行动力的觉醒，《恋人》的爱与羁绊是愚人对人际关系和道德选择的启蒙，《隐士》的智慧在孤独中照亮前路，《倒吊人》提示自我的牺牲和舍弃可以提供全新的视角和感悟……《星星》的希望和灵感、《月亮》的潜意识和幻象、《太阳》的光明和真理都是愚人最终抵达圆满，与《世界》融为一体的必经之路。这一系列延续了孔令楠长期以来对精神世界的深度关注和凝练刻画，借由神秘主义知识体系的视角，描绘普世的生命体验和心灵旅程。

Capsule is pleased to present The Fool’s Journey, a solo exhibition by Kong Lingnan (b. 1983, Jilin, China; lives and works in Beijing), featuring a new series of oil paintings on wood. The exhibition opens on March 21 and will be on view through April 12, 2026, at Suite 2501, Landmark South, 39 Yip Kan Street, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong, China.

"The Fool’s Journey" (2023 - 2024) series consists of 22 oil paintings on wood. It offers a metaphorical interpretation of the 22 Major Arcana cards of the Tarot, outlining the process of an individual’s spiritual growth, from ignorance to wisdom, from chaos to fulfillment. The series takes viewers on the journey of The Fool (2023) through a progression of archetypes and stages symbolized by each Tarot card, and reflects on the challenges, transformations, and enlightenments that we all face in life in one way or another.

The Magician’s (2023) creativity and proactivity kindle the awakening of consciousness and action; The Lover’s (2024) affection and connection inspire the Fool's first understanding of inter-personal relationships and moral dilemmas; The Hermit (2024) shines light on the dark path with wisdom found in solitude; The Hanged Man (2024) assumes a fresh perspective through self-sacrifice. Hope and inspiration of The Star (2024), subconscious and illusions of The Moon (2024), and light and truth of The Sun (2024) guide the Fool toward wholeness, toward unity with The World (2024). The series expands on Kong Lingnan’s long-standing investigation and abstracted portrayal of the spiritual world, reflecting on the universal life experience and inner journey through the lens of mysticism.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

孔令楠1983年生于中国吉林，现工作生活于北京。

孔令楠早期创作借由闪烁的霓虹描绘齐物世界、岛屿、星辰……她以旁观者的角度，凝视人的生存与变迁，于苍穹之下由个体通向精神建造物，拜谒“文明”。近年，她受瑞士心理学家卡尔·荣格的影响，同时对神秘主义也有着浓厚兴趣，并试图描绘人与幽暗世界的隐藏纽带，其间创作逐步转向探寻自身精神世界的矛盾与显微，聆听自我心灵的灼烧与搅动，寻得浅意识果实的滋味。以细腻的小尺幅木板油画为媒介，图绘朋友的精神肖像，勾勒个人情感的悲欣，拓影内心的风景意象，专注炼金术的精神象征转化。

Kong Lingnan was born in 1983 in Jilin Province, China, and currently lives and works in Beijing.

Her early works portray a world of uniformity – one where the self and the universe is one – with scenes such as islands and constellations that take on the effect of a neon-like glow. She contemplates human condition and transformation from an observer’s perspective, and approaches spirituality and culture through the individual experience. In recent years, under the influence of the Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Carl Jung and her interest in mysticism, she tries to visualize the hidden bond between human and the unseen world, and shifts her practice towards an exploration of the inner world – its contradictions and microcosmos, its fire and billow – in seeking of the fruit of the subconscious. Focusing on transmutation of spiritual symbols in alchemy, Kong Lingnan’s nuanced small-scale oil paintings on wood offer psychological portraits of friends and imprints of the inner landscape, outlining the sorrow and joy of personal emotions.
