啥空间（Schein Space）欣然宣布，将于2026年7月3日带来驻留艺术家角力的个人项目“一棵北方的植物在杭州找到了自己也找到了杭州”（A Northern Plant Found Itself—and Hangzhou）。以驻留期间的持续行走与环境感知为起点，展览将杭州梅雨中的湿度、植物与身体经验转化为一种缓慢生成的观看方式。本次展览持续至2026年8月3日，欢迎大家前来观展。

植物离开原有的土壤，并不会立刻属于另一片土地。

当既有的生活节奏被暂时中断，身体脱离惯常经验，面对异地的气候、光线与湿度，钝化的感官开始重新工作。陌生，在此处成为一种主动建立的观看姿态。视线变得迟缓、敏锐，那些日常经验中逸散的细节，得以重新浮现。

抵达杭州前，角力便有意保留了这份陌生。她没有急于去“阐释”这座城市，而是将自己消融于环境之中。她的艺术驻留因而脱离了目的明确的田野考察，而是转化为了一次身体适应环境、并在其间重新感知的过程。

这种感知，在艺术家日复一日的行走与折返中缓慢累积。

她不断往返于古清波门与古涌金门之间，沿南山路的梧桐树而行，树木、城墙、水汽与梅雨共同构成了一条不断重复的感知路径。采集树皮、观察植物、短暂停留，或驻足观看雨后不断变化的痕迹，展览并非产生于工作室，而是在一次次往返同一路径的步履中逐渐生成。持续的行走与独特的观察视角，是她进入地方的方法；空间也不再只是地图上的坐标，而成为身体建立微观经验的媒介。

杭州的梅雨，则为角力提供了最具包裹感的环境经验。

湿度弥散于空气，并渗透进植物、建筑与皮肤，重新组织了城市的物候印象。绿色漫延，改变了观看世界的方式。雨水化身为持续作用于身体的介质，融化了人与环境的边界，让时间呈现出缓慢流动的质地。

对于角力来说，驻留的“在地”并非对地方文化的符号化再现，而是一种持续生成的关系。地方塑造身体，身体也重新感知地方，两者始终处于彼此作用的过程之中。当“这棵植物”离开原有的生长环境，到一个陌生的地方经历，这也成为重新辨认自身的过程。所谓生长，并非单向的适应，而是在彼此影响之中，共同形成一种新的存在状态。

A plant does not immediately take root in new soil simply because it has left the ground where it once grew.

When the familiar rhythms of everyday life are suspended and the body is displaced from its habitual environment, new climates, shifting light, and unfamiliar humidity begin to recalibrate perception. Here, unfamiliarity becomes an intentional mode of attention. Vision slows down, yet grows more acute, allowing subtle details that usually dissolve into the everyday to emerge once again.

Before arriving in Hangzhou, JueLi consciously chose to preserve this sense of unfamiliarity. Rather than rushing to interpret the city, she allowed herself to become immersed in its environment. The residency therefore moved beyond the framework of a goal-oriented field investigation, unfolding instead as a process through which the body gradually adapted to its surroundings while reconfiguring its own sensory awareness.

This awareness accumulated through repeated walking and returning.

Throughout the residency, Jueli repeatedly walked between Qingbo Gate and Yongjin Gate, two former gates of Hangzhou's historic city wall, following the edge of Nanshan Road. Trees, city walls, moisture, and the lingering monsoon rains gradually coalesced into a perceptual pathway shaped through repetition. Collecting tree bark, observing plants, pausing in the streets, or standing still to watch the changing traces left by rainfall, the exhibition did not originate in the studio but slowly took form through the repeated act of traversing the same route. Sustained walking and a distinctly attentive mode of observation became her way of entering the place. Space, in turn, ceased to function merely as a geographical coordinate and became a medium through which embodied, intimate experiences could take shape.

The city's plum rain season became the residency's defining environmental experience.

Humidity permeated the atmosphere, seeping into vegetation, architecture, and skin alike, reshaping the city's seasonal sensibility. Green seemed to overflow from every surface, transforming the way the city was perceived. Rain was no longer simply a meteorological phenomenon but a medium continuously acting upon the body, dissolving the boundary between self and environment while giving time a slower, more fluid texture.

For JueLi, site-specificity is not a symbolic representation of local culture, but an ongoing relational process. Place shapes the body, just as the body continually reorients its perception of place; the two remain in constant mutual formation. As this "plant" leaves the ground from which it once grew and enters an unfamiliar environment, encountering a new place also becomes a process of recognizing oneself anew. Growth, in this sense, is never a matter of one-sided adaptation, but the emergence of a new mode of being through reciprocal transformation.

关于艺术家

角力（JueLi），生于漯河，目前生活工作于北京。长期由“植物性神经即自主神经。人类应该像树一样活着”获取力量，以其为内源进行艺术创作。作品涉及装置、绘画、artists’book、自出版、雕塑等。策划OneTreePerson项目专注于自出版。

柳浪闻莺艺术驻留项目（OSWAR）于2024年由啥空间（Schein Space）发起，选择在一个开放式的空间展开——这里没有高墙与围栏，而是一扇可以推开的门，一个临湖、临柳、临宅、临声的流动性所在。在驻留项目的实践中，我们尝试探索一种不依赖展览中心逻辑的工作方式，转向更“透明的、不确定的、协作的”创作状态——这不只是艺术家的自我表达，更是一种与环境、人群和日常发生关系的过程。我们鼓励和支持艺术家在驻留期间进行创作、交流、参与、公开，我们扎根杭州，希望能为杭州的艺术生态提供氧气。
