关于艺术家

韩子石现居法兰克福，主要通过装置、雕塑、影像和声音进行创作。他从材料与空间出发，关注个体与权力结构之间复杂而亲密的依附关系，以及其中生成的欲望、脆弱性与感官经验。振动、光影、烟雾等短暂而难以捕捉的元素时常寄居于坚硬、封闭的结构之中，使其颤动、泄漏，或接近失效。作品将空间视为一种持续作用于身体的装置，追踪欲望、脆弱与依附如何在承载它们的结构内部逐渐成形。

韩子石近期曾在以下机构呈现个展、双个展：Overbeck-Gesellschaft，德国吕贝克；Gianni Manhattan, 维也纳；Brownie Project, 上海；Politikens Forhal，哥本哈根；广东时代美术馆，广州；SculptureCenter，纽约。近期其他展览经历：麦勒画廊，苏黎世；釜山双年展；Kunsthal Charlottenborg，哥本哈根；West Den Haag，海牙。韩子石是2024年首届艺特奖年度获奖艺术家。

Based in Frankfurt am Main, Zishi Han works primarily through installation, sculpture, video, and sound. Beginning with material and space, his practice considers the complex and intimate attachments between individuals and structures of power, and the desires, vulnerabilities, and sensory experiences that emerge within them. Ephemeral elements such as vibration, light, shadow, and mist often inhabit rigid, enclosed structures, causing them to tremble, leak, or approach malfunction. His work treats space as an apparatus that acts continuously upon the body, tracing how desire, vulnerability, and attachment take shape within the structures that hold them.

Han has had solo or duo exhibitions recently at: Overbeck-Gesellschaft, Lübeck, Germany; Gianni Manhattan, Vienna; Brownie Project, Shanghai; Politikens Forhal, Copenhagen; Guangdong Times Museum, Guangzhou; SculptureCenter, New York. Han's work has also been exhibited recently at Galerie Urs Meile, Zurich; Busan Biennale; Kunsthal Charlottenborg; West Den Haag, among others.  Zishi Han is the inaugural E.A.T PRIZE Annual Artist Award winner in 2024.

柳浪闻莺艺术驻留项目（OSWAR）于2024年由啥空间（Schein Space）发起，选择在一个开放式的空间展开——这里没有高墙与围栏，而是一扇可以推开的门，一个临湖、临柳、临宅、临声的流动性所在。在驻留项目的实践中，我们尝试探索一种不依赖展览中心逻辑的工作方式，转向更“透明的、不确定的、协作的”创作状态——这不只是艺术家的自我表达，更是一种与环境、人群和日常发生关系的过程。我们鼓励和支持艺术家在驻留期间进行创作、交流、参与、公开，我们扎根杭州，希望能为杭州的艺术生态提供氧气。
